I had not heard of bleedingdove until they started following me on twitter, which is a pleasantly unexpected surprise. At first I was taken completely off guard by the coins-across. Actually I still kind of am. It looks like genuinely cool take on the coins across routine with a gimmick he says people use but not in this way. What do you guys think of the trailer? I think it looks fairly interesting, though I'm not really a coin guy.

WOW looks really nice!
You can tell by audience's reaction. The moves is simple but with the gimmick it looks like real magic. |

How reliable is the timing for the second coin to appear. Is it 6 to 7 seconds everytime? I have to admit it looks very "magical"

I sent them a message on youtube and they were really cool about answering my questions.
They say you can trigger it at any time during the performance. |

Wow cool to see this thread getting more action! I just saw this guy who followed by Twitter [1 of 9, so I always know when someone else is following] - linked me to his youtube, and the incredible misdirection just really made it more magical!

The effect could be great but perhaps a little too limiting in real-world performance. The setup would be really touchy.
Not for me but I'll be interested in hearing how people do with this one...maybe they'll prove me wrong...wouldn't be the first time! |

Hello I am Leon the creator of Transcendence.
I would like to thank everyone for there interest in my new effect. If you have any questions about Transcendence leave them here and I will do my best to answer them. First off I would like to answer a couple peoples concerns regarding my effect. Is it difficult to set up : No Is it practical : Yes Does it reset fast : Extremely If your using my Original signature set up. All the original hassles you would have regarding this kind of effect are completely minimized if not completely eliminate. Normally something like this would not be practical using traditional and current methods of set up.. But I fixed all that. If your into the kind of magic I specialize in then my original signature set up is worth the price of Transcendence alone. Now lets move away from trying to understand the mechanics behind how transcendence works and understand what transcendence is. When I created Transcendence I wanted to create the perfect VCA. I wanted the effect to be simple to understand. I didn't want to baby step them thru a coins across routine explaining what was about to happen. I wanted something that I could perform in a extreme high energy loud environment. I wanted the ending to be a complete surprise , like being hit by a semi. I didn't want the effect to be a spectator sport with a "look at what I can do" type of feel to it.. I wanted them to feel like they were a huge part of the magic. I wanted them to see , feel and hear the magic happen... To them in there hands... Most of all I wanted it to be easy to perform... This is what Transcendence is and so much more. |

Most magicians forget that it's all about what the spectator sees and feels. I would go through a long set up on an effect to get the desired reaction. Can't wait to get one!

I would have to agree with you completely. I think you will find that the set up is quick and simple. - Leon |

At 1:16 when he performs it on a single hand then does it on the girl with both hands, I assume he has to reset from the first production. If so, then that ls a real fast reset.

I streamlined the handling so I can go from spectator to spectator reseting right in front of them.
Very helpful when I am working a crowd or pulling people to my clients booth. Also another thing I should add is both coins can be examined before and after. But every time I go to hand the coins out they wont even look at them, they just tend to drop them back in my hand and saying "I believe you". So I just stopped handing them out, but the option is there. |

All that seems to be true!
Do you have to keep the coins in your hands to re set that easy and if the coins are put away, do you have a problem a certain percentage of the time? Not knocking this at all, just was making sure this would not be a waste of money for ME. Part of the rules on posting, I really hope I'm surprised with this,as I would love to be wrong. |

I usually reset right in front of my spectator using a simple move.
This allows me to show both coins solid front and back and if I need to I can even hand out the coins. Because of the unique set up I use with the gimmick, it can be put away under your belt strap. That is where I load and ditch the gimmick from. This way you can load it for your grand finale. That percentage your talking about is really small if your using this set up. Then even if that percentage does happen to you. You still have the ***** and you can go into your favorite version of coins across or Cointwo. You could even go from Cointwo into Transcendence if you wanted to. That's how flexible the gimmick is. But this is all assuming your performing it under pressure at a corporate event where perceived failure is not an option. -Leon |
