I get a call from my sister in law apologizing for telling my wife that my niece on my wifes side was arrested. I didn't know because if you tell my wife not to tell me something she doesn't and that is how it should be, rats suck (todays my 21st anniversary by the way...thanks for reminding me....not). So my SIL calls and she tells me the girl, who is an obnoxious little *****' little....more of a moose, but obnoxious and a horrid young lady. My sister in law says that the niece was in a bar and went to the restroom which was full, this was a nice bar not a dive, one of those phoney Irish joints that yuppies and daddies girls, like my niece, go. So the niece goes into the restroom and everyone is waiting so she decides to, per my sister in law, jokingly say "why are you taking so $@$&@# long to (@#&>?". When my sister IL told me this I said "you mean she yelled like a smart arse when she should have kept her mouth shut", SIL says "no, she is just a very funny person!". My niece is not funny, she is a loud, unattractive, obnoxious girl. So the story goes on that the girl in the stall comes charging out and says "Who said that?" and she and her two friends beat up my niece. Then the police came and because my niece is Arabic arrested only her. !@#$%^&*. Does anyone but me think that the situation was a bit different since she was the only one arrested and there were 15 witnesses and that they charged her with drunk and disorderly, assault, and resisting arrest?
I wished 'em luck and now I'm a bad guy for not being 'supportive' enough! I'm old school. I figure if you want to run your mouth then you best be able to back it up. I also believe regardless of what my lying niece had to say that SHE likely antagonized the patrons and then when one told her to shut up threw a punch and then just was her normal charming self when the police showed up and dug her own grave. She gets arranged next week, of course the girl and her parents are suing the bar, the patrons, the police, the owner of the mall, the city, and everyone else. I suggested they drop the suits by the way. What makes me giggle is my niece comes from a intact family that was willing to pay for her to go to school, she was too stupid to pass classes though. Her daddy makes over a quarter million a year selling cars and they live in a very nice upper class area, the girl even went to private school! Mommy was a stay at home slave mother who breast fed until the kids were in their teens, in fact I still think my nephew who attends San Francisco State is still on the teat. These are the most spoiled, mommy addicted, children I've ever met. What kills me is for years my SIL has had this pitty party going on for MY two nieces that are older (I have other nieces and nephews that this SIL doesn't really know) and the drunk nieces age from my side come from parents who were divorced, had no money, had drug and alchohol problems, and were raised in 'the hood'. One of MY nieces has her masters degree in education and is a teacher with two of her own children and married to a teacher who also has his masters, all from the UC system. My other niece became my nephew and has a degree in hospitality something or other and is a nice young man now. Both have good attitudes, are artistic, don't rely on anyone but themselves, and are interesting people. It really drives my sister in law nuts because of the difference between her darlings vs my side of the family. Now to top it off that lil' monster raised in perfect world America is going to jail if it goes my way! We get our kicks when we can. |

LOL!!! These should not be random posts on a magicians' forum. These should be syndicated columns, like Erma Bombeck did for so many years. I hope somebody is compiling these stories. This is like the dark side Lake Wobegone. Oh, ****... I'm still laughing!!!
For anyone who hasn't found the return of Leonard Kobal's ghost... look it up here in the bizarrists' forum. Another great read!

I'm gonna write a book and give it to Doug Higley to ebook it.
Who is Leonard Kobal? Sounds like a genius to me though I never heard of him. |

Oh Santa I hear you!
Whenever any of these spoiled, classless children get in trouble, and the parents come down to my workplace to complain about us giving their precious little angels the boot, my boss looks forward to shattering their bubbles and pointing out what their kids had done. Last Saturday, I dealt with a real winner who thought she (yes, she) was some sort of gangster girl who freaked out on me when I told her to leave as I don't like people spitting on my patrons. She then tried to assault me and I tossed her out. There is no reason to tolerate the aggressive behavior of anyone when you have done nothing to provoke them. Three cheers for those girls who defended their right to take a dump! |

Thank you. I actually hope she does go to jail to wake her up. She is almost 30 years old, her father pays her way, which is more cultural, and it is her mother who is expected to raise the kids....raise the KIDS! My gawd at what point do you say "you are on your own, pay your own rent". They paved the road for this girl. I'll tell you what type of character she is. My wife wanted to send her flowers for her birthday, she was living in Los Angeles where her parents paid her rent because she was attending school full time (she attended zero classes) and was working for some company. It should be noted the idea in her head was that she would go to LA and duplicate the success her cousin had in working witn Sony music in talent development, but that would require a thing called 'effort'. So my wife wants me to get the address of the place my niece worked and I call the company up figuring I'll ask the receptionist for the address. The niece answers the phone and I ask for her address and when she asked why I wanted it I said that Jana, my wife, wanted it to send her a birthday card. I get the address and my wife orders the flowers for the next week and I'm angry because I don't think she deserves 'em. That night my SIL calls my wife in a state of rage. The niece had told her mother that I had called and demanded to speak with the HR manager so I could complain about her! Now why the heck would I do that? This girl lies at such a level she tried to point a finger at ME when the fact was the company was getting loads of complaints about her....and her mother fell for it! I was told to call my niece and I did, rather than apologize I told her that she was a goddang idiot. I was the bad guy for that too.
Being my niece doesn't excuse one from being a monster. |

Happy birthday! I forget my anniversary every dang year. My wifes birthday is July 28th and I have mental block where I always think her birthday is the 23rd and our anniversary the 28th. Fond memory, I drank a lot of tequilla at my reception and threw up on my wife!
The couch guy. My sister in law is convinced that he is calling her and hanging up and also she use to tell my wife she saw him 'lurking' outside in the bay area when he actually was here. Of course we would tell her that he was in San Jose and asked for her address. Just to let folks know what really angers me other than my niece being a horrible person is she has had every opportunity, every one. If she wanted to go to any school in the world her dad would have paid for it, he paid for her to go to NYC, to LA, and she lied every step of the way. Then there are kids out there like my other nieces who at 18th birthday were tossed out and they struggled to get through school and then there are others who just don't get the opportunities at all. At least my nieces who went through school on their own were very intelligent and it was not difficult from an academic standpoint for them. In fact their mother is a hippy college professor who just wanted 'em gone. It ticks me off that bright young people are out there who will never ever have he opportunities while some moron has daddy pick up the phone and get the a job. |

I'd make you my God but do you realize how embarrassing it is to pray to a guy named Doug?

Like the old heavy metal lyrics where you had to play the songs backwards to understand the messages they contained (because let's face it, we all had record players in those days that commonly did that... but I digress...) the word "Doug", when said with the Danish accent of a former workmate of mine, will give you the word "God". Pray away.

I know one thing....if it goes her way I'll hear about it, if not I will not hear a word. That is how I'll know the score.
