What are some of the better DVD'S out there to learn balloon hats?

Bad to The Balloon 1 and 2 have some great balloon hats. I use a lot of the hats from these videos in my balloon performances.

Yeah, we're not just saying this because Mark is a regular here, they really are awesome DVDs. BttB1 was my first twisting DVD. The first several on the disc are great for even a brand new beginner. But there is bigger more complicated stuff too. The dragon that ends the disc is a real winner. I was so new to twisting that the first time I made one, it took me over an hour late at night. Now I do one in 5-7 minutes. Mark's stuff is designed to be fast for line (or restaurant) work but seriously impressive. He utilizes a lot of shaping and bending to get the most out of just a couple balloons.
For show stopper stuff that takes more time, but is usually well worth it, check out Don Caldwell's Mad Hatz and Wild Wearables Vol 1. |
