Does anyone know how to light a match in an "open handed" fashion?. The effect would be that you take a match at your finger tips and it would magically "self" light. I know of the old method with the mental match gimmick and sandpaper. The effect that I'm looking for would be done in a close-up situation and performed at any point in a routine.

Here's a youtube video link that you can check out -- don't know how it's done though?

Phosphorus? I know it lights up on contact with oxygen. It's supposed to be toxic though.
