I just received my copy of Paul's new book "Mental Epic Compendium". It's a softcover book that weighs in with 362 pages of routines based on Hen Fetch's 'Mental Epic' board.

The book is divided into four chapters.

1) Mental Epic Routines Using the Board (15 routines)
2) Variations on the Mental Epic Board (8 routines)
3) Close-Up and Impromptu Routines (12 routines)
4) Stand-Up One-Ahead Routines (22 Routines)

The contributors read like a who's who of magic/mentalism consisting of people like Whit Haydn, Banacheck, Bill Abbott, David Regal, Andrew Gerard, Kenton Knepper, Dan Garrett, Richard Webster, Larry Becker and many others.

Regardless of your performing style you'll be sure to find something that will fit your act if Mental Epic is something you would perform.

For myself, I've been using mental epic since the 1970's and it has always played very strong. But after spending two days with this book, I've added a few ideas I've gleamed from various routines and turned a strong routine into a killer of a closer routine.

If you are a fan of Mental Epic this book is sure to inspire you. And if you don't perform the routine, reading the variety of ways the routine is presented is worth a read.

Will this book be applicable to Supreme's Slate of Mind as well as regular Mental Epics?

Great book......applicable to all sorts and types of slates. At this time, as I understand it, Paul is selling it himself and it is not available through dealers......yet anyway.

I asked Paul the very same question. He wasn't sure, but didn't this so, but I bought the book anyway. I'm glad I did. There were several ideas that helped improve my own routine with the Slate of Mind. I'm going to slowly go through the book again and see if I can get any more info. I'm even debating of going back to the Mental Epic board as some of the routines are that good.

I just received my copy of the "Mental Epic Compendium".

I'll keep this short and sweet... Wow! What a collection of great routines and ideas. This is an impressive book that will be a great addition to anyone's library, especially those who have an interest in the One Ahead Principal and/or Mental Epic type routines. There is a TON of very useful and practical information contained within. Everything from close up, impromptu, to stand up and stage, along with other information of interest.

Yes, I do have one routine that was included in the book, but that's not why I'm speaking up about this. Paul did an outstanding job with this project, and I'm happy to have been included with so many of the great minds in magic and mentalism. I think this book is destined to become a classic. Don't miss out on this, as you will NOT regret it. Thanks again Paul!

As a working Professional who uses a version of Mental Epic in shows-Im
really looking forward to purchasing this book, just last week I did a a version of this at a Luncheon
for teachers before reading this post and surprisingly this got a huge reaction
I wasnt expecting from this audience of about 35.. played really strong.
