Hi all,

Jean-Pierre Vallarino did it again ! This time, it is called Perfect Prediction, another affect based on Michael Chatelain's effect with a complete different handling and principle.

Using a deck of card and a post it, you write on your post it a prediction that you stick on the card box, leaving the prediction in plain sight.

Have a spectator pick any card totally freely and pull it off the deck. The card can be face up or face down, it does not matter. Whatever the card is, say in this exemple 9 of club, have the spectator remove the prediction on the post it and read it out loud >> It is written: 9 of club

Can be repeated instantly, with no force of any kind. The trick is almost self working.

Demo video is here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6H9i7lvUL8U

More information on the product : http://www.artecoproductions.com/perfect......ino.html

Sincerely,
Arteco.

Looks cool but I don't know - the thing about having the spec cut the cards a few times "to see if we have the same card value" to me doesn't really make sense in terms of a story...

I like the post it note reveal at the end, but it looked like something was happening while the magi was putting the cards away although it did not look to awkward.

Excellent as always. Just like his Wild Card.

I agree, it does look suspicious as he puts the cards back into the case. Other than that, it looks really nice. No idea on the method. Kinda steep for a single prediction effect though.

Wow, you guys must be good! I don't notice nothing "suspicious" about him putting the cards back. It's not like he was using a n**l w****r or something. The effect looks good to me, although the price is a bit steep . . .

Mr Vallarino is handling the cards very loosely and even drops some cards !
Does not look like gimmicked cards.
Nice convincer to me.

I also noticed that Monsieur Vallarino and the spec both cut their cards in different ways - Spec holding the sides, and Vallarino holding by the ends.

Maybe the cutting sequence is just a dead end anyway.

Yeah,

maybe inserted only to fool the guys who try to backtrack the method from watching the demo ;-)

Don´t have a clue how it´s done, but the cutting sequence is weird. I hope that´s not an important part of the routine!

Just watched the demo and figured it out... not bragging... I have played with the under lying concept in another effect. The cutting sequence is there to show the deck as "normal".

Ah ha!

I would assume Monsier Vallarino can handle cards with aplomb!

The voice over work is pretty cool too - reminds me of some of the old Godzilla movies I used to watch as a kid.

The deck is gimmicked to the hilt !!!

But very cleverly done.It made me smile.

Good trick if you like to handle gimmicked deck.

Hi Jean-Luc,

The deck is a regular deck of card. As a matter of fact, it is not supplied with the trick, as we assume that everybody knows where to buy a standard deck of card.

It would add an extra weight and an extra cost for nothing...

Sincerely,
Arteco.

Sorry for the misunderstanding !

I must have said that the box containing the cards is gimmicked to the hilt...
(you receive the gimmicked Bicycle card box).

Then you have to make some easy manipulations to some cards you provide yourself though.
