Although I don't profess to know the details of the method, given what we DO know I found all the handling involved (the repetitive cutting, using only half of the deck for the selection of the card, putting the cards back in the box) to be not only distracting and (unless essential for the working of the gimmick) extraneous and therefor detracted from the effect.
IMO something much more direct; i.e., replicating as closely as possible writing a prediction which remains in full view, displaying the cards face-up, turning the deck face-down and spreading it, having a card selected (apparently at random) from the face-down deck, then revealing that both the card and prediction match -- which could easily be done with the appropriate deck -- would be far preferable.

No Worries Jean-Luc,
You are correct, it comes with a gimmicked box. As per the demonstration on the video, it is up to anybody to do the performance they want. The only required action is to place the cards back on the box at some point. Despite the gimmick involved, I believe this is a very clever method and an interesting effect to perform. Fairly easy, therefore, leaving room to focus on the presentation of the effect. Sincerely, Arteco. |

I agree with the boy wonder....
Looks clean, but for the same price or less you can get the mind power deck, dream deck, or monte christo deck. Additionally, it no longer becomes a 1 out of 52 unless you change the presentation which should be an easy fix. |

It has been a while now since this has been out. Anybody else have this that can offer a review?

Frankly, I don't own the effect - and so I can't judge it. But from watching the demo alone I could reproduce the whole effect 1:1.
That's enough for me to stay away - the basic idea for sure is fine (and I'm sure could easily be tweaked and improved, PM for any more questions), but the way it is implemented into this routine still leaves to be desired for my taste in terms of logic and handling. But that's all my 2 cents - I wouldn't be surprised if the effect finds many friends nonetheless, not only because of its technical ease of perfornance.
