Due to the inability to search at the moment...
Can anyone offer any advice about the best 'milk glass' to buy. I'm specifically looking at the ones available at Hocus Pocus and they seem to vary in price quite a bit. Anyone know if there is much difference between the Bazar de Magia Deluxe Milk Glass and the Herbert von der Linden's Milk Wonder Perfect? (aside from paying x5 the price). Mostly planning on using it with puppets. Cheers Flymo |

Herbert von der Linden's Milk Wonder Perfect is also plastic, but has the great advantage of being sealed (i.e. the milk is already in there and you don't have to mess with pouring liquids). The rim of the sealed "roof" of the glass is underneath some decorative tape on top of the glass and while I haven't used the Wonder Perfect glass yet, it seems in that regard to be better than the others. Although if you want to pour milk as a lead in to other effects also, then go with one of the other, cheaper ones.

Great thanks Mumblemore; exactly what I needed to know. I am looking for a sealed glass so Wonder Perfect could be the way to go.

This is an old post, but did you ever end up getting the Wonder Perfect Glass?
Do you need to tip the glass (as if drinking or pouring it) for the milk level to drop, or can it be sitting up right in your hand and the milk level seen to diminish? (which is what can be done with the other non-sealed glasses) Trying to work out which is best for the effect I am trying to achieve (glass kept still and level drops), but prefer sealed as less maintenance. Thanks |

Hi,
Yes I did. You're right in thinking that you do need to tip the glass for the milk level to drop. It is a fantastic prop but may not be what you are looking for in regards to your desired effect. Flymo. |

I had an Uday Wonder Glass and it cracked very quickly. I switched to the original Tenyo and am very happy with the glass.
