Copywrite - An improper term refering to act of writing copy, as in advertising text. A copywriter writes copy.
Copyright - A set of exclusive rights granted to the author or creator of an original work, including the right to copy, distribute and adapt the work. There is no need to "apply" for a copyright. A copyright is automatically considered to be granted to the author or creator of the work as soon as it is finished and considered "fixed" in a copy or recording. Beano - (1) A product intended to prevent or alleviate "gas" caused by eating certain foods; (2) A certain entertainer known to be full of gas (hot air) and occasionally "pass gas". (3) A nickname for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. |

Have you read Stephenson's book Anathem?
Sustainable? As in a caste system or the three field system or the use of low-tech and war to manage populations? Some civilizations were doing just fine for millennia till others offered specious benefits of alternate fantasy worlds. So what specifically would you like to have, maintain and sustain? And what specifically is there about it which would appeal to those who have the most to lose?

I have to keep an eye on 'lil darlings' section to see who asks for help on a Sustainability show.

That's easy - you envisage a show where you change a silk into a silkworm which then produces a new silk - in the actual show you change a dirty rag into a crumpled pic of a silkworm which then produces another dirty rag.

Well, Santa, I was at a Halloween party earlier this evening. As it happens, it was well attended by graduate students in Environmental Design. Out of nowhere, just in the course of normal polite discussion, one of the students mentioned that they had been warned off of the use of "sustainability" in their thesis proposals. That pretty much had to do with the word being somewhat overused and ambiguous. So there you have it.
They said nothing about the use of "substainability".
Make America Great Again! - Trump in 2020 ... "We're a capitalistic society. I go into business, I don't make it, I go bankrupt. They're not going to bail me out. I've been on welfare and food stamps. Did anyone help me? No." - Craig T. Nelson, actor.

So substainability, then, is very sustainable.

See....I saw what the professors saw... and since it shouldn't be used so much that indicated we will see it more and more!

My show is 100% sustainable. After the show there are exactly the same number of fish in the local rivers as there were before the show.
My show is also nuclear-free, and I've lately been reminded that it is also homeopathic, because any active ingredients have been diluted really quite out of existence. |

Exactly! I like the term 'global climate change', it covers everything. Global Warming wasn't working out but climate change? Perfect! Y2K had a time limit, which ruined that racket, now folks have to figure a way to cash in on 2012. I'm working on how to convince people that I can sell them something that will protect them when the rest of the world explodes.
