Joon Rhee is awesome. Him and Hee Il Cho are my favorite TKD masters.
(I used Lee Jun Fan because I didn't want to name drop. Lots of people claim lineage from him, I don't want to sound like one of the posers. Plus what Glover teaches is his own style which is closer to the earlier Jun Fan style which was more Wing Chun based. Good eye.)

You want to see something that is both silly and awesome at the same time?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G07yCHJR4Js&feature=related The big dude is a powerhouse. I've seen him smash lots of stuff and do some intense stuff with different weights. Sifu Hamby. He's awesome. Carradine's narration is hilarious though. As is the schlocky set.

Anything by Carradine is silly. I read his autobiography ...really bad.
I've seen some articles by the big guy, they were good.

Having said that...
RIP David Carradine.

Carradine was weird and his kung-fu was terrible, but I'm still a fan.
I think his shining moment was Kill Bill volume II. Riveting.

My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

I've always wanted to study the ancient secret art of Well Hung...
Still can't find a Long time Master though. It's supposed to be a really private art.

UH OH!
Penn and Teller covered martial arts! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcbe3Ao0ThU (part 1) So far I've seen the second section only. I think that this episode is biased and in many parts ridiculous ...I think it also makes some very good points (I'm a big Marc Macyoung fan).

If you do the Martial Arts solely to be good at fighting or hurting others then you have totally missed the point.
Hurting others is easy, especially using weapons. Criminals do it without any training or thought every day. Check your Crime Statistics. Learning to control your anger and really feel empathy for others IS difficult. Especially when you ARE trained. That "control of self" is what all true Martial Artists strive for... Physically and Spiritually. The added bonus for all here is that it gives you a lot of ideas for your Magic and/or Mentalism... Try it.

Deep breathing exercises from the Martial Arts for me.
Helps during stressful times... Really does.
