Nicely done! Smooth and entertaining. The music went along well with the routine also. Two thumbs up.

Awesome routine. Slightly reminiscent of Eric Jones' Oxy Clean Coin Routine.

Thx guys !!
I gotta check eric jones's routine too ! ps. The funny thing is that when I was recording this routine, I didn't think about music at all. I just did my routine as usual and when I was about to upload this, I remembered about the feedback about BGM, so I grabbed some music from youtube and combined it and it kinda matchs right haha |

Definitely check out eric's routine. He has a GREAT way to start and end clean (no sleeving either), which I think will blend wonderfully with your routine.

Good performance. Overall, the changes you made really smoothed out the routine and improved it. However, I think great magic is in the small details. The one thing that I thought was better in your 1st version was the vanish of the 2nd coin. In the 1st version you "took" the coin near the finger tips to make it vanish. It looked real. In this version you make a looping motion that looks sleightly (pun intended) suspect. Looks great though.
Eric's Oxy Clean routine will take you to the next level. You'll love it. |

Thx guys!!
Ya, while watching my second version, I found 4bad things about my 2nd version 1. Little tensioned hand at the begining 2. 3rd Appearing(maybe because the music ate my blowing sound) 3. 2nd vanishing (ya, I will fix it back) 4. I got little faster during the routine I will definately work on those ! |

I'm a believer in performing at a good pace. A lot of magicians perform too slow. They do something and stall like they're waiting to see if their audience can figure it out or wondering how they did. The time delay actually gives them time to figure it out. With that said I think the 3rd coin appearance was a little too fast for my taste. Almost as if the 2nd and 3rd coins appeared on the same beat. In your case you're using something special so you don't have to go too fast to cover the sleights and where the coins are. My humble opinion.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant
I kinda have to produce it pretty soon but I wanted to seperate 3rd appearance from 2nd appearance. So I blow really hard and quickly when 3rd coin show up. In this video, music ate my blowing sound and I lost my boundary or seperation line(?) between 2nd 3rd. I will fix it and I understand that it still looks little fast compare to first video~ woo~ got a lot of things to work on haha ps. I just realized that you live in Bay Area too I live in Albany, CA! the one next to berkeley! Are you also a member of misdirection magic club?! |

Dai Vernon would have slapped your hand and said "That's not natural" at the grab on the second coin vanish at the end (don't feel bad he slapped my hands so many times I still swear he caused nerve damage), but other than that, I'd say huge improvement. Timing was much better, very relaxed. Definitely a routine that kept my attention and entertained. Keep up the good work!
"Now here's the man with the 25 cent hands, that two bit magician..."

Yes, I live in the bay area. One of my best friends lives in Albany. I do not belong to the Misdirections Magic Club though.
You really should get Eric Jones' dvd set with Oxy Clean on it. The loading and unloading technique will really clean up your routine. I guess that's why it's called Oxy "Clean." You're wearing the perfect clothing in your video to perform it as well. I pm'ed you with great info that should help. |

Doh,
Two things. I like your changeover. Very smooth! Nice CP as well! I cannot criticize a thing about that routine! If Father Photius gives you advice though, I would listen. You can't go wrong with Eric Jones, either. Great job! Doug |

Thanx a lot Father Photius and Dougini!!
I always welcome healthy feedbacks that will make my audience feel more magical!! and that is whay I love here way more than korean forum. In Korea, many magicians are learining only by DVD. Since most of magic DVD are not translated, they only focus on 'SKILL' which is whay they see and ignore 'Presentation' and don't try to listen what what magicains in the DVDs say. When I uploaded this video to few korean sites, I got a lot of bad comments about my last vanish(my style of classic palm vanish) and didn't get any feedback which I was expecting(3rd appearing, 2nd vanishing, etc) I asked why they think my classic palm looks weird and need to be fixed, and what they said was that "you have to throw it really hard and really fast. otherwise it is not gonna work." While emailing them, I realized that most of korean magicians only use goshman stlye(throwing hard and fast to sideway). I explained there more more than just goshman's style and what I used to make spectators to focus on my hands instead of speed (misdirections by using Eye, moving sideway to use contrast from background, not turing catching hand even though I moved my whole body to side and etc) and why my move had to be slow for my presentation They didn't understand and didn't even try to listen and said I was terrible at classic palm vanish. It was really weird... ps. the funny thing is that I didn't get any feedbacks from korean magicians about other stuff except last vanish :-( |
