As far as I know Woody Aragon's work has only been published in Spanish, but does anybody use his ingenious "Mnemonica Siamesa"?

What is the effect??

Woody describes many clever effects with this deck:
-A thought of cards across routine -A very clean prediction of a freely chosen card (my favorite...) -A torn and restored card effect with a free selection -A poker deal of four good hands from a deck the spectator shuffled (no holding out or culling...) -An adivination of a packet of cards from a shuffled deck just to name a few. They're described in his excellent book "Cosas Mias", available only in Spanish, but I heard he's working on a new English book... One idea (probably so obvious, that others had it before...) I had is to do a very clean version of the "Princess Card Trick", where all spectators can shuffle their cards... |

Is this a separate stack or is it using the Tamariz Mnemonica system?

Hard to explain without giving away the whole secret...
First of all it's more a concept than a specific stack. For most of the tricks You can use Your favorite memorized deck order and turn it into a "siamesa" without having to learn anything new... Some of them (especially the poker deals...) make use of Woody's own mnemonica, which can be easily reached from Tamariz's mnemonica or NDO. But if You only want to do the deals, You actually don't have to remember the order... |

Woody is the man, we sessioned one night in NY and he fried a table of us with an ingenious idea he tipped. I would buy any thing he has to offer.

I did, they're the first books I've ever read in Spanish and I can heartily recommend his books "Cosas Mias", "A La Carta" and "Woodysmo" to anybody interested in stacks and Gilbreath applications.
They also contain a lot of really good tricks by the way. |

Hey! Thanks for the interest in my work.
In fact, I've working now in my first book in English. The translation to English (made by a professional translator, of course XD) is being finished now and I have the privilege of my master and friend Juan Tamariz is writing the foreword. Is a compilation of some of the best material of my three books in Spanish with the more practical tricks, all of them with a normal deck. But, at the moment, I'll don't publish tricks using memorized deck or my mnemonica siamesa. Let me use it a little more to fool non-Spanish-readers magicians In while, if you want read some of my material in English, I note you Steve Beam wrote "Psychic Poker", one of my favorites, in SemiAutomatic card tricks vol. 8 and a whole chapter called "The magic of Woody Aragon" in vol. 6. Thanks a lot, Woody |
