Here's one.
MD is set up in Stebbins or BCS order. Have spectator cut off a portion, look at card on bottom of that portion, then reassemble deck. Mentalist steps back and reveals card. (Or, this can be one phase of a larger routine.) Simple, hands off. Two great principles at work. Seems totally impossible. |

I have been working on a deck of my own creation that borrows heavily from the work of others. What I do with it can be done with a Boris Wild MD, however, I decided to tinker with one (mainly because my eyes are not the best, and it is really difficult for me to read the marketed BWMD). I had seen an edited video of what looked like an impromptu version of Out of This World, and it really impressed me. (However, it was not as impressive when I saw unedited video. I cannot think of the name of this effect. The effect is great, but when you see the workings, it is not nearly the stunner it appeared to be.) The markings help me perform OOTW without looking at the faces of the cards. I basically do U.F. Grant's version, except I utilize the markings instead of looking at the faces.
I also employ two more markings that allow me to do a nearly impromptu version of Max Maven's Mockingbird. I cr**p one card (a la Bob King), and I am able to let the spectator cut to "any" card and perform Dan Harlan's Crazy Eights without any noticeable f**ce. And, what starts off the whole set is that it is stacked for Aldo Colombini's PreDeck Ability. So, this is what I have been working on. Bobby
