Grammatically, I´m not sure how to structure embedded commands in spanish.
i.e. "when you close your eyes, you will find that you relax completely"
embedded commands = close your eyes, relax completely.

Can any native speakers give me an example or two so that I make sure I´m using the correct grammatical structure?

It is the same as in English. I usually say things like:

"Tú cuerpo está completamente relajado, ahora escuchas mi voz"

Embedded: Relajado ahora (relaxed now)

I also play with the tone of my voice when I say things like:

"Duerme profundamente..." emphasizing the "mente" part.

Also, for more specific commands like anchoring or forcing something, then a script for the particular thing I want would be needed with a similar structure than in other languages but using Spanish sounds and words. Is there something in particular that you are thinking about doing with the embedded commands or is just for a normal hypnotic induction?

By the way, in Spanish we normally say "comandos insertados" for embedded commands.

Best regards from Ecuador,

Thanx Giovanni.

It was for a lead in to a normal hypnotic induction. I´ve noticed that a lot of people around where I live have some very strange ideas regarding hypnosis. They are genuinely VERY afraid of being hypnotized.

Their fears include:
* suffering some sort of brain damage
* stripping nude and being embarrased
* starting to tell people what they "really" think of them
* getting stuck in a trance

So the idea was to use some hypnotic language (embedded commands) to relax the subjects, and get them to have a more open mind, and to reassure them that I mean them no harm and I´m not going to "fry" their brains. Smile

In pubs in The Costa Blanca I'll often use: "Mas cerveza... ahora" emphasising the:'ahora'.

I have found also a lot of fears among Ecuadorians, specially thinking that hypnosis is a parasicological phenomenon or that they can loose total control of their actions. So, I do as you are thinking: I give a two or three minute pre talk with embedded commands, and that seems to work well with a lot of people that later volunteer for the show.

The best tool to avoid taht would be a great sync with your audience.

I agree with Scherzo,

A good mix between building good rapport with the audience, and the embedded commands works great. Smile
