Hi there. I was wondering if someone could recommend a force bag specifically for ping pong balls. I see a lot of bags advertised as being best for "billets, cards, headlines, keys" - mostly flatter objects. And being relatively unfamiliar with force bags in general, I wasn't sure if larger objects, like the ping pong balls, would work well.
I was looking into the Pandora bags from Creative Magic - but just want to make sure they will be practical for ping pong balls, before investing the money into them. And if someone has a better force for the balls, than a force bag, I'm open to other ideas as well. Thanks!

What exactly are you trying to force, a number of balls or one particular one?

Hi Danny,
I have found that these bags (if you can get them) work great for small balls. I have used them to force a specific color ball pit type ball and it worked great. Ping Pong balls would be no problem. http://www.ezmagicrobbins.com/Catalog/pr......ID=19359 Let me know if you, or anyone you know does not have a wholesale account with Robbins as that's the only place that I know that would definitely have them, as I have a few from my last order that I can send to you. PM me if interested. They are pretty inexpensive for a pretty good utility prop. S. Patrick |

I have a bowl of various colored ping pong balls, and I need to force one color on the kid (this is a routine for my kid show). The idea is, I want the choice to be random, so I grab a handful of balls from the bowl and toss them into a bag for the child to reach into and pick one. Patrick - I will PM you. Thanks!

The Forrest Gump ping pong ball is very good.

I second Steve's suggestion. Pandora (Creative Magic) comes in several different sizes and is excellent.

I have heard great things about the Pandora Bags, but I have also heard that with ping-pong balls, because of their size, I would likely not be able to show the bag empty first. Can anyone confirm this?

I've used it for years. Simply replace the eggs with your ping pong balls. If you have any routine questions after getting it, PM me. Midwest has it for $7.50. Madhatter has it for $4.95. https://midwestmagic.net/shop/item.asp?itemid=4078 http://madhattermagicshop.com/magicshop/......_id=4395 |

Directions for making a mesh force bag using a Dollar Store mesh laundry bag are included in the Mini-Mysteries Book 1 "Germaine's Silk to Egg Revisited", as well as making one from plastic bags. If you're not into making one, the Mad Hatter Egg Nest Bag is the next best thing.
If you want to get away from using any kind of a bag at all for the force, consider the "Cookie Jar Force" from The Wizards' Journal #16 on my site.
