Did he enjoy (and miss) spooning with Michael Jackson?

What would he like to be written on his tombstone?

What is the greatest sensation he has ever experienced?

What will you do with Randi's ashes?

Forums are truly worthy examples of what is wrong with the world at this point in time.

Those who no one gives a wag of the wily for are the ones that hide and shake in the shadow.
Pontificating at length though their digital masks.

Those who walk and create in the public world and believe what they post has value
(if only value it being their opinion) use their own names or people know who they are.

I have yet to see this not be the truth on this or any other forum of this type.

Sorry for the rant and I say sorry for the sidetrack.

Funny. The language you used suggests it was a question. May I recommend you consider the way in which you word your posts more carefully in future?

well, I don't know how...it was definitely a statement...something which needed no answering...maybe you should consider learning the difference between a question and a statement...

more questions - if he could create a mentalism A-team, who would they be?

would you tell him that I sense he spoke to someone called Scott earlier this year, sometime in August - and Germany was mentioned in the conversation? and I think there's a problem he's had in his garden that'll be fixed early in the new year...

if he was starting all over again in this day and age - would he have appeared on Phenomenon?

who bent spoons the best, him, Randi or Mr. Berglas?

"Do you huh" is a question. I'm unsure why you find it so difficult to grasp that concept. Had you wanted to make a direct statement, "You don't understand mentalism" would have been more appropriate. You still would have been wrong, however...

Thanks for pointing out where your inferences are failing

Thanks for demonstrating your inability to understand simple English.

To clarify - do I have to put "huh" at the end of each question, huh?

james brown asked a lot of questions in his songs...

anyway...

more uri "huh"s...

do you think mentalism has weakened over the past decade or two?
did you know basil horwitz - or did you always stay away from mentalists?

Of course not. Take it off your original statement and we're left with "do you". Still a question...

Are you married, Iain? I imagine the process would have taken weeks, with you adamantly (albeit incorrectly) informing the priest/vicar/celebrant that "Do you, Iain...?" is not actually a question.

No it wouldnt, because I understand how questions are formulated...

Do you, iain take this dog to be your lawful wedded canine?

if I turned up and the priest expected to paint me from top to toe in purple paint and then cover me in horse-hair, I would be in my rights to make the following statement...

"you don't understand what marriages mean do ya huh..."

Your inability to grasp the elementary concepts of grammar baffles me Iain.

Like I said earlier, this is Dodd's thread. I have better things to do with my time than argue with you lot.

Cheers,

Chris

I'd ask Uri if he's sad or disappointed that he's got these amazing abilities and hasn't managed to advance science in any way, but instead is only an arguing point among magicians.

"Dodd's thread" didn't stop you (nor others) from posting snarky posts which only a disrespectful reporter would phrase in the confrontational way some have here.

Not a surprise you "have better things to do" having done such a poor job in this thread with your "assurances" and "inferences".

No, those who hide in the shadows understand the risks of giving out personal information to others, especially those who "value their posts".

But, answer this.....What difference does it make to you if my name is Brody or if my name is William...or Angeline?

Tell me what incredible change that will make in our dialogs.

Will you change your mind because my name is Tony?

Will you respect me more if you know I live in Detroit?

What big difference will it make? Other than what has been stated before.

Of course, you can always visit a psychic and have them divine the rest of my information.

I look at the anonymity issue this way - why would someone who will not share his name expect me to share my secrets?

Bob, I own one of your books and wasn't required to leave my details when I purchased it.

Bob:

I'm not anonymous...I'm Brody.

So what difference does it make?

Now, I'm guessing that you're a reasonable and personable fellow, and if I ever would meet you in person, I would be more than willing to share many personal details of my life. HOWEVER, even then, I wouldn't share in public and not where "others" could overhear.

Do you see what I mean?
