I was shocked too. I like Josh a lot but I wonder why he would get that award over people like Steinmeyer, Lorayne, Kauffman, Allen, Caveney etc.

I was at the IBM Convention in San Diego and Joshua Jay was an excellent lecturer and performer. Let's not let some people's dislike of the Merlin award affect a really deserving entertainer like Jay. And besides, who would have thought...Randy Jackson!

I posted this b/c of the manager thing...however the article also states that Josh won a Merlin and everyone quickly took the thread over and it became another bash thread on the Merlin Award. Not what I had intended by posting the thread...
