A few years ago as a kid I saw an epsiode of the infamous "Masked Magician". He performed this illusion where he is captured, tied up, placed inside a bag which is then covered within a triangular cabinet. The lovely assistamt puts on a black robe with an executioners mask and does some dancing, wlaks around the cabinet, etc. When the cabinet is opened, it appears as though the magician has not escaped, but when the bog is opened and inside is the lovely assistant. The magican then removes the executioner's mask and the audience is amazed at the fact that they have "switched places".
What is this illusion called and is the plans for sale somewhere?

I believe it is in one of the Tarbell books, not sure which, it could have also been in the original set (of which I have the illusion section only). I am sure someone can give you a better idea, if you don;t have the books, or access to them.

I have access to the Learned Pig Project and the FULL original Tarbell Course is found there. Does anyone know the actual name of this illusion.

I'm not quite sure why you need plans for this, it's 3 doors hinged together with casters.

I'm not sure but it sounds like the Murder in the Phone Boot variation. I saw similar illusion from Doug or Mark W. about 30-35 years ago. Help me out here Blair.

It's in Tarbell Volume 2, Lesson 33, if you have the books, or Lesson 51 if you have the old version. The Illusion is called "Who and Which."
