Wondering what cups these are by Gary Animal. Have had them on my shelf for some time.

They are next to a Charlie Miller Cup and Mike Rogers final load baseball to show the difference in size.

Kind of look like "Gazzo" cups to me.

Those appear to be Gazzo cups to me as well.

They look like tall gazzo cups. that's the thing with garys cups. They are built like tanks but he releases a lot off one offs and stuff that is not consistent. So in cases there are cups that are just GA cups... spun on a whatever chuck.

Not that I care.. I have 8 sets of his cups, and love them all... but they are definatly all over the board at times.

The load size is a clue too. If they fit a baseball, they'd be part of the "Babe" family. Tennis ball? "Loves" Really big load? Gazzos.

Compared to the baseball in the pic, I'd go for calling it a Babe. Something about it looks odd, like it's too tall above the bead to be a standard size.

That's not a regulation baseball. That's a Mike Rogers final load baseball. They are smaller than a lacrosse ball.

Correct, and I mention that in my first post.

Any thoughts on what they are, Bill?

Rev,
Takes tenis ball but won't take a baseball(regulation) = Loves Cups
Barely takes a baseball = Babes
Takes baseball with a some space left over = Animals
Takes a small planet with room to spare = Gazzos (a baseball will swim in these)
I think what you have are Loves or Babes -
God's grace rocks! It makes a good cups and balls routine look pretty boring in comparison.

I find Gary's lack of consistency one of his most endearing qualities! Frustrates the "magic consumers" to no end, as well... Which amuses me, but I'm quite jaded.

High quality stuff, but don't expect to be able to put each of his cups you run across into a nice neat box with all the others. His cups don't come with serial numbers, ya know!

I was pointing that out for those who had missed it.

Gary used to post a list of diameters of these cups.

Now that I know that was a Rogers baseball, my vote is for "Loves" (my favorite size)

They are Babes, after doing some research.

Regular baseball does fit inside.

Thanks for all your help!

That's what I call "Sherlock Holmes" work.

BTW, if you have a set of "Love" cups, you can get a training baseball that will fit them.

Interesting... my Babe cups look very different as compared with your set John. Guess this speaks to what others have mentioned about the variety found among the various styles of Gary's cups.

I could be wrong but don't those saddles look too soft to be street pro's? Maybe if we had a photo from the top... Gary? Where the H*** are you??!

Do they have any dimensions in inches or centimeters?

They look like Gazzo cups. Dimensions really would be welcome.
