Hello friends,
Even though iPredict was just rejected by Apple, Randy and I are confident that Apple will approve iPredict hopefully sometime this week. FINALLY, I can tell you all about iPredict . . . I'm sure many of you remember my previous discussions about the Apps that we had developed BEFORE iForce. Many of these ideas were very close to completion when we decided that iForce was a better idea then the rest of them. There was this one idea in the beginning that we thought was very good . . . but it needed to mature. The idea was can we create the ULTIMATE calling Mr. Wizard trick. I realized what better way to use the iPhone then to use it as a phone to call Mr. Wizard! It was a good idea, but it had to simmer in my brain for over 14 months before it would be done. Let me share with you, for the first time, the app description of iPredict: The long awaited sequel to iForce "The Best Magic App EVER" is COMING SOON . . . Imagine . . . You're talking to your friend about a psychic named Esmeralda. "This woman is a REAL PSYCHIC." Hand your iPhone to your friend . . . In your phone's Contacts, show Esmeralda's info as you say . . . "Esmeralda doesn't believe in random thoughts. For example, if you just think of a card, THAT card isn't random . . . It's CONNECTED to YOU!" "Let's try it . . . name any card in the deck." Your friend says "Queen of Clubs". "You can call Esmeralda on my phone or you can use your phone." She calls Esmeralda any way she wants. When the phone answers, it's Esmeralda's voicemail . . . "Sorry that you've reached my voicemail . . . but you're thinking of THE QUEEN OF CLUBS!!!" Suddenly your friend has goose bumps as she listens to a short psychic reading about her CONNECTION to the Queen of Clubs. • Easy to do. Includes written/video instructions and a Training Mode • You can hand out Esmeralda's biz card, before you start, to show there's only ONE phone number • Print Esmeralda's business card on your printer (link included) • Customize Esmeralda's contact with your own unique name & photo • Any card can be selected from either a real or imaginary deck of cards (No Force) • Camouflage iPredict to make your iPhone completely examinable • No voice recognition • They can use THEIR PHONE !?!? iPredict is the kind of effect that gets AMAZING reactions . . . your iPhone is so invisible that when I first showed it to people in my local Apple store, everyone was saying "Didn't you say you created a NEW magic app?! WHERE is the app?" That's how INVISIBLE iPredict is . . . when you use it, people forget you ever used your iPhone . . . let alone an APP! Here's what they WILL remember about your performance . . . "I thought of a card" "I called this psychic using my phone" "And her voicemail told me which card I was thinking of!?" Well enough talk. Here's a teaser performance video of iPredict . . . The REAL demo video is still being edited: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zkDtf3r8WU all the best, Greg Rostami |

IPredict looks great, can't wait to try it out. Would this app work on the Ipod Touch since the spectator's phone can be used to make the call?

It works on the iPad as Greg previously stated, so it will work on the iPod touch. This sounds like a really cool prediction for stage shows and such. The business card could be a good souvenir and the iPad could be used as a larger display so people could see what you are doing unlike on the iPhone/iPod touch.
This sounds really cool and I can't wait to get it, but I think I am still more excited about iForce pro. |

Hi guys,
There must have been a little misunderstanding. iPredict will not work with the iPad. There are many technical reasons why that's the case. But the good news is, it works great on the iPod Touch. Your spectators just simply use their own phone to make the call (since the iPod Touch is NOT a phone). As far as using it on stage, here's my FAVORITE part of iPredict. You can have anybody that has a phone call Esmeralda. Since the voicemail is based on Voice over IP, the voicemail greeting will play back on everyone's phone at the same time. Greg Rostami |

If there is one thing that I love about the Rostami Magic apps, is that they are extremely thorough. they are laid out great and have everything you could think of built in. Trying out the effect now but I like it so far. And appropriately priced. Don't think it is too high at all.

A minor suggestion: the secret code for the Aces is either '01' or '14' though the latter isn't mentioned in the instructions. Is it possible to make them both '01'?

Hi Rizzo,
I just PM'd you. Call me tomorrow and I'll help you resolve your problem. Thanks for the comments guys. As Randy has already posted, Apple has approved iPredict and is now available for sale on the iPhone App Store. iPredict sells for $9.99 Over the last month I've performed iPredict in just about every setting you can imagine. Many of the tweaks that we've made to the software have come from these real life performances. Both Randy and I are very anxious to hear your comments about iPredict. looking forward to your posts, Greg Rostami |

Hello Rizzo & everyone else...
Since neither Greg or I have seen any issues launching iPredict on our devices that we test with, I went on the hunch that maybe you have a pre-4.x OS on your device. I dug back to an old simulator and sure enough it failed. I made the mistake of using a new API that apparently wasn't available until 4.0. My bad. I just fixed the issue and resubmitted a new version to Apple (iPredict 1.01). Unfortunately, this probably means another 1-2 weeks wait. In the meantime, if you are running an iOS older than 4.0, you should sadly hold off on making your purchase of iPredict. Greg and I pride ourselves in testing our apps thoroughly and do everything in our power to make them as perfect as can be. We are a small two man team that does this in our spare time. This one slipped through and it is a lesson learned. Please accept our sincere apologies if you have purchase the app and are having this issue. Hoping for a speedy turnaround from Apple, -Randy Posted: Nov 23, 2010 2:40am Jprace, As per your request, I also swapped the '14' for '01' in the new build I just submitted. I agree with the change. -Randy Posted: Nov 23, 2010 2:43am Prizna, There are some hard costs involved with having iPredict available in other countries. We are going to have to see how well it is received in the US and Canada first and go from there. -Randy |

IPredict it will do very well in other countries! (See what I did there!) Can't wait to get this when it's released within the UK.
Seriously though I think everyone who purchased iForce was more than happy with their purchase and on this basis I'm sure that all would purchase iPredict on the strength of the previous app alone! Best Wishes Michael

These 2 guys are real gentlemen who immediately responded to my concern which actually proved to be good so anyone using an older software version will soon have no issues. Now that's great customer service, fast and immediate once I brought it up. Anyway,I went ahead and loaded it on an IPhone 4 today and I have to say that this is a very fine effect as you clearly see in the demo. For the spectator who says "can I use my phone" and you say sure, use your own phone, go ahead and call.It blows them away. Thanks guys.

Hi Greg!
Am I assuming this will only work with US numbers or can it work with a UK number? :)
