Hi all, check out my new wand. It is called The Knot Wand. I also have a wand I call The Stay Put Wand. These are made out of a material I have not seen any other wands made of. When you twist it or bend it the wand stays in the shape you want it to. Think of all the fun things you can do with these wands. The routines are endless, and it might just be the missing comedy piece to a routine you already have. Tell me what you think. This is the first time I've offered a product but I have many more in the works.
My web site is OneMansMagic.com Here is the link to the you tube video of my wand. Thanks for looking, and let me know what you think. Mike http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01G_AW7Z7sg

Those are cool. I like.
After much soul searching about a signature, I decided not to have one.

I'm afraid to say this exact product already exists - http://www.magicnevin.com/proddetail.asp?prod=ms03740&cat=28
I have one, it's pretty much exactly the same size as the Wolf Wacky Wand - so you can start out with the bendy wand, and then switch in the (totally solid) Wacky Wand. Potty |

I just viewed this clip yesterday, from Practical Magic, where they're reviewing different comedy wands... one being the knot wand. What I like about Mike's wand is his is flexible as well, so as to get more mileage out of it (whereas the one from P.M. is just a wand with a knot in it - as far as I know).

Thank you all for your imput. I took my wands to the Motor City Close Up Convention and one of the dealers I respect a lot told me about the knot wand idea. He told me someone in England, he couldn't remember who, used to make a wand with a knot, but he didn't think they did any longer. So that is where I got the knot idea. My original ideas were quite a bit more complex. Here is the link to my original video and ideas. At that time I called it The Twister Wand.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFElqiHjDxk To answer the question are these the same just different sizes, yes they are the same, you can actually undo the knot if you want and have a longer wand. If you watch the video you will see my original thought was to have the long wand very long. The dealer (I haven't asked his permission to use his name so out of respect I wont mention it), said he thought that my original ideas with it and doing the "Wand Man" bit was over kill. I really like my wand man idea. Watch the video and please give me some feed back. You guys are the working pros, which do you like the best. THANKS!

Silly Billy's Silly Wand can bend in similar ways, too. It's just made from a different material.
I will admit that you can tie a tighter knot with your product, and also that it looks a bit more like a standard wand. Reset looks more time consuming, though. Just sharing some observations. - Donald P.S. If you get the chance, why not film the wand(s) in use in your show / performance with a kids audience, so your customers can see their impact?

Recording it is a good idea, the problem is I'm not a full time pro. I don't have any shows coming up soon. But I will tape the next show I do. I will say, the impact is about the same, no more or no less than any of my other comedy wands. I'm one of those who use a different comedy wand with every routine. The reaction is simply laughter and interaction. I got 4 additional interactions by adding this to my show. As far as the Silly Billy Wand, I like his wand a lot and use it in every show. I don't twist it up into different things, I use it more of the starts small and gets big type thing. The thing I don't like about Billy's wand is the fact that it looks like a plastic tube, but making it get bigger is very funny. The kids don't expect my wand to bend because it looks like a regular wand. So when it does it's a added kicker. This wand is not a complete routine, it's just another funny prop and in the right hands will be very funny. As far as the reset, if you do the two bends the reset is about 20 secnds, and the silly wand is about 2 seconds.
Thank you for your observations, they seem to be right on the money. Mike

I think that these wands are awesome. I really think that if you can make another older product better than you should be able to sell it with no problem. Are you still giving away the stay put wand with the not wand?
