I am a serious hobbiest with a wish to perform in public locally. Would I want to join one of the magic societies? If so which one and what are the pros and cons of each.
Thanks so much, landmark

The IBM is larger BUT both have benefits. Their magazines contain great material although the Linking Ring (IBM's magazine) contains far more ads than the MUM (SAM's mag). The SAM also offers several other benefits such as performers insurance, video library, etc..

Hi landmark,
If you have a chance join both, there are some cities in which they have their meetings together, at least that is the case here in denver CO. I wish you the best whichever you wish to join. |
