Check out my NEW Santa Claus puppet.
Made by your friendly puppet maker from Singapore, Frankie. I think that the photo is doing an injustice to the puppet; the puppet looks really good when it is in front of me. I'll be using the Santa Claus puppet for a show tonight, and if possible, I'll post a video of the show too. Does anyone have any nice Santa jokes for me to consider? My current, rehearsed presentation with Santa Claus will last about 5-6 minutes. |

Outstanding Santa figure you have there!! IF the beard is removeable, maybe he can be redressed and used on other occassions than strictly at Christmas(??). What kind of animations does he have??

His beard and eyebrows and wig are removable. He is created to be bald and can double as many different characters. He got moving mouth and raising eyebrows. I got more pictures of him but don' know how to post picture here. I am also creating some other figures for myself. I will post the progress when I get the chance.I have sculpted a mad scientist,an Indian cook and a boy.

That is quite a conflict in personalities. One month out of the year he represents "giving". The other 11 months he represents "taking". I love it.

Great looking character! I call these kind of puppets my utility players, as they can be redressed and remolded into different characters as needed. I had a Mary Ann Taylor figure that was a sea captain, a knight, and an astronaut...and it was just the same puppet redressed! It's great to have a utility player!

Okay, I gotta ask: is that a soft figure?
He's been referred to as a "puppet" which implies a soft figure to me, but he looks like a hard figure. Whichever he is, he has such a look, I absolutely love it!

Thanks guys! It is a hard figure with raising eyebrows and a moving mouth.
I just finished a big toucan hard figure and are now filming him for a children's tv series. This bird has got blinkers and a raising crest like a cockatoo and a moving mouth. His wings are articulated by another puppeteer.
