One of the brighest and most rational writers of all times was Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It took a simple seance to turn his world around and make him into a believer.
I'm sorry if this seems like an insult, but jdmagic357 you don't know the power of something like this. It is literally a matter of life and death. I have seen this in action many times, and know first hand that it is not something to take lightly. Quote: On 2010-12-08 16:22, jdmagic357 wrote: |

Quoting Sir Arthur Conan Doyle hmmmmmm wasn't he from like the 1900s? Times have changed, those who haven't changed with it are doomed to suffer by being unactualized. As the tree bends in the wind so to must man so not to break.
Cheers.

I'm sorry but you are very wrong about this. You are stating a position on this subject based upon your hypothetical understanding of it. You have no experience with the actual when it comes to all of this. Harley is right. All that has changed is the surface fashion of the times, not the people. The public is vulnerable in ways beyond their understanding. Predators are the ones that understand this and that is why they are able to bring people to tears.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go get ready to talk to the dead. It's time to play. Quote: On 2010-12-08 16:46, jdmagic357 wrote: |

Good discussion of a literally eternal issue. If you do these presentations you must take some care and realize that all of us are pretty jaded with the potential 'realities' but lay folks are not.

Despicable. Really.
They'd better be "shut eyed". There is no way to justify this otherwise. I'll put it into perspective if you don't get my meaning... What if the old lady had died? Would it have been worth it? For a Victorian-style Show? Or any Show? (That's what it is really... a "Show".)

JD,
C'MON MAN! The possibility is a reality that she could have died than if pigs fly! My original intent of this post was to point out the possibilites of how this really could have resulted in something worse (not that is was not bad enough already) when the mediums ran with the dark figure and introduced Satan into the mix. Everyone should be aware of what they are participating in but I am not sure if this is what the two women intended to sign up for. Jamie Salinas Posted: Dec 9, 2010 3:38pm OK looks like JD removed his post above mine that the possibility that she could have died is compared to pigs flying. I guess you saw fit to remove the post. It was removed but not by JD.
Posted: Dec 9, 2010 3:45pm It is easy for someone with no experience in this area to take this whole subject lightly. All it takes is to conduct a few seances and the power of the experience becomes apparent. Jamie, Evil Dan and a few others on this thread understand this. |

Todd, I believe JD's not only lacks experience, but maturity also (little boy).

I did not post the comment by woman who had the "break down". Not hard to find if your interested. I did a background check on her and I note that the family business is entertainment related? Real? I see a booming business way down in old haunted Galveston.

That she had to suffer that little bit until needing an Ambulance is fine right? What's a bit of suffering to make it real yah? What? It's not like she died? Old people could never have heart attacks at Seances! It's just a Show right? (That was sarcasm btw...) They take this too lightly to the point of almost being criminal. Almost, I said. Sure, pigs flying right? Funny right? Right... I'm outta here. I might need an Ambulance if I stay.

I don't think it was taken lightly. It was just inexperience and not what they expected.

Pakar,
Just to clear up what is turning into a misunderstanding, Jamie was responding to a flippant post made by someone else. That post was removed by the moderators. You and Jamie are on the same side of this discussion. Quote: On 2010-12-09 21:34, Pakar Ilusi wrote: |

Thanks Todd.
Sorry Jamie. My bad. My position stands, whoever did this was irresponsible as heck.
