Recently, I finished working with Andrew for several weeks as co-consultant on an upcoming Keith Barry Discovery Channel series. Apart from having numerous excellent adventures and creative sessions with Keith, Andrew, and Eamon McGuire (executive producer and one of the best managers in show business), I was most impressed by Andrew's incredibly direct and innovative approaches to our art. Anything he puts out is worthy of serious consideration by working performers.
As mentioned in an earlier post, Andrew regularly works as a creative consultant to many of the top names in our business. In "The Process" you'll find out why. Good thoughts, Bob Cassidy |

I would LOVE to have the time to write a book, and do plan to in the future, but as of now, time is the one thing I cannot seem to find enough of.
Thanks so much to Bob, Paul, Tony , James Deputy ,Dominick and other for all your support, it means so much to me. I am slightly suprised at all the wonderful emails and messages I have recieved form people going through a transformation of thought and approach after watching The Process, that is the best feeling. all the best , Andrew Gerard

Gerard-
Just turn on a tape recorder and start talking. You'll have a book done in about 20 minutes! (Andrew is one of the fastest stream of conscious thinkers I know. When we worked together I found that after I got a few drinks into him, he's slow down a bit and was easier to follow. ) Actually, I think I should write a book about our adventures in LA - like when he, Keith and I went into a tourist oriented magic shop and pretended we were conventioneers looking for some "cool tricks." BTW - did I mention that Andrew taught me the best close-up coin bend I have ever seen? Good thoughts and Happy Festivus to All! Bob Cassidy |

The coin bend Bob is referring to is something that I do in place of psyche, its really so clean and convincing..... well good enough to get Bob Cassidy ! LOL The coin bend will be on an upcoming dvd I have planned for next year... it looks "perfect" hence its name, "The Perfect Bend" Best Andrew Gerard

I received this dvd set today, watched them and am blown away. Honestly, I completely agree with everything Andrew and Bro discuss on the set about the spectator's experience being far greater in importance than the effect itself. That is something that I can work on and seriously I'm starting to consider transforming my entire repertoire! This changes everything. A truly eye-opening session with what seems to be two amazingly awesome guys who really know what they're talking about through experience. I really am at a loss for how Andrew can have such a profound understanding of all of this stuff. It blows me away. These dvd's are worth every penny.

This set is really great I needed this so bad, it's great for those of us that perform professionally or for fun but need some inspiration to re-ingnite that creative flame that once was. If you want this for the effects alone then it's still a great set, I'm sure you will find one of the effects you will want to perform. I know I will use 2, in fact I killed with the drawing dupe last night.

I agree, just the effects themselves are worth the price of the set.

Jheff's review is up:
http://www.marketplaceofthemind.com/process.html I wonder how similar this new release is in concept to the Jerome Finley idea of the same name, released in T&R and one of the PC manuscripts.
Some people hear voices.. Some see invisible people.. Others have no imagination whatsoever.

Judging by the thinking behind Andrew's card effect extraordinary proof from the true astonishements series, this collection and thinking will be top notch. I will go as far to say that the explanation and thinking behind that piece was probably one of the most profound and inspirational I have yet to see.
Great stuff. John |
