That is great news!
I loved the Red Skelton Tribute Show but Tom is also one of the funniest and most amazing Magicians on the planet and I'll be glad to see him back in Magic. Thank you for the post David Todd. -Mary Mowder |

I saw him in the Palace at the Magic Castle a few months ago - it was great to see him doing his thing in person!

I was fortunate to see Tom lecture at the IBM convention in Jacksonville. He showed and explained a few tricks, but it was mostly about his career and his relationship with Red Skelton. Wonderful lecture that started at 10:30 pm, and we could have stayed another two hours!
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

Oh, man.....I absolutely LOVE this guy. My first time going to the Tom Foolery, my wife and I just found it in the phone book. Some magic show at a bar. So, we went. Then I saw the name on the building and said, "Hey, I know who this guy is!" And what a show it was.
A few years later I returned (with a new wife, of course) and had an even BETTER time. Since then I've had a few conversations with Tom and have seen his Skelton thing several times. I am SO glad he's coming back to US!!! Home is where the magic is..... Too bad cigarettes are so uncool and out-of-style now, huh? |

I spent some very enjoyable time with Tom talking while others were rehearsing on stage and when I was not busy on stage. He is in good health now and slowing down a little but still working. His new pickpocket act is a work in progress that I am sure he will find the right combination of humor and magic to make it another winner for him.
There is nothing like sitting and jackpotting with old pros like Tom. Richard
