Long time FCMer and full time pro Sheldon Rhodes of http://www.jestkidding.com and http://www.GodsFamily.com sent out several emails today- he has tested positive for prostate cancer. Surgery may be as soon as next Monday at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sheldon states: "We have always needed your prayers and support, but perhaps feel than need now more so than any other time. Thank you for being there. Together, we will get through this." Sheldon's address is: 10230 E. State Road, Nashville, MI 49073- send him a card or email- he is understandably thinking about his very busy travel schedule as well. Two weeks after the surgery he will go back to see if the cancer spread anywhere else and if any other treatment is needed. We'll be praying for you Sheldon!

Latest email report from Vicky is even though Sheldon was still in the hospital as of 12/22 recovering from surgery- his sense of humor is kicking up again and is now exchanging one-liners with the hospital staff... Just emailed with Sheldon this morning- he is already answering his computer mail inquiries from computer rookies like me. I just purchased through his web site former FCM Pres. Rev. Bill Baker's "Takin' It To The Streets" massive PDF file- hopefully I can figure out now from Sheldon how to actually download it onto my old Dell computer. Sheldon has been out of the hospital for a couple of days now- so very glad he was home for Christmas. If you are ever near one of Sheldon's 2011 events- be sure to catch it- top notch.

Good news today from Sheldon via his email he sent out and his Facebook following: 1. They got all the cancer. 2. They removed all the tubes. 3. They don't need to see him for 3 months. Sheldon is now working on gaining his strength back. Praise the Lord for answered prayer!
