Hiya Gang!

Well, the boxes showed up today and look great! And the decks get picked up tomorrow, so we're all set~

No idea what I'm talking about? Maybe check this out...

and then click here for the latest and the greatest (and to be able to be a part of the campaign yourself).

(this link is where you can purchase the deck and perhaps find the 100th bottle)

After that, if you still aren't sure what to think, you can always listen to this, as well, which gives some back story:

Again, thank you to everyone who helped, continues to help, believes, and is inspired by this entire project. The Send Wonder campaign exists only because people like yourselves have taken the time to look, listen, and wonder. I can never thank you all enough.

All my best,

jamie

The box is beautifully made. Everything about it is art!

Even as a block of wood it's an amazing and mysterious block of wood and a fine piece of art. Not only that, it's a great conversation piece with a fantastic story behind it.

By the way, tonight I was finally able to open the box. Smile All I got to say is...Merry Christmas Everyone!

I opened my parcel to find the coolest old world wrapping paper inside. I carefully unwrapped the paper and found a beautiful wooden box.
I had seen this type of puzzle box before, but forgot the secret, so I used the best scientific method I knew, I shook the crap out of it.

It opened! See, science really does pay off.

The cards inside are fantastic. USPC stock and a really thick finish.

I was bottle #83 and that makes me the three of spades [very cool] Something about this project always chokes me up.
I can go to the website and read the posts and I get all awe inspired. There is something about the idea of Jamie spending hundreds of hours making these bottles.... and then giving them away..... to people he might NEVER see. What can I say, it's art. Temporary and beautiful and magnanimous. Oh here I go again.
This is the three of spades, signing off,
James

Hiya Gang!

@James- the stock isn't actually USPC (I had them made locally), but I'm super happy with how they turned out. Thanks for the kind words!

@wilko7- Thanks for your purchase! I'll probably make them for a long time, but I can tell you that the winner of the 100th bottle will be within the first 100 sold. You just got number 18, I believe.

All my best,

jamie

Actually these cards are much better than USPC stock. I just compared. They seem almost laminated.
I love my set,
Thank you Jamie,
