Wow, that's great to hear! Glad to see that Morgan City is still on the map after the last hurricane in that part of the world.

Bob, have you seen the date for the Cavalcade of Magic in Eureka Springs for next year? Will it be the week after LMW, or two weeks?

Murf,

After this in Louisiana with Glen Ghirardi we skip a week and then go to Cavalcade of Magic in Eureka Springs, Arkansas for the last weekend of March with Bill and Ruth Pitts.

The folks in Mississippi will go south and then north. Texans may not want to even go home.

Sounds good! Two weekends in a row might be a bit much, even for us. I was a little worried about the definition of "last weekend in March", which is, technically, the 26th and 27th, just one week after LMW. If Cavalcade is the week after that, only the Thursday evening "before party" will actually be in March.

I too am super thrilled to be a part of the convention. For the past two weeks I have been on tour with Charlie and Sherry Frye and I have to say that not only is their act awesome, but Charlie's close up is second to none! Wow! I am so looking forward to also seeing Jon Racherbaumer and George Saterial. This is going to be an awesome weekend ...

Bob, I just realized you meant literally "skip a week" (actually PART of a week), not skip a weekend --- that's too very magical weekends in a row! I think we can do that, but we're going to be tired puppies the following week.

Murf,

That's true! Cavalcade of Magic is March 24-26, 2011. Maybe Glen can get us a deal at a laundry! We'll have to bring both sets of cloths. You know that we absolutely have to be at both events. It is a tradition! Otherwise they'll hold a broken wand ceremony for us.

Someone needs to call Bill and Ruth Pitts to make sure they know about Glen's Louisiana Weekend. Their computer died and they won't get to see this. Certainly they would come if invited.

Will there be lots of Texans coming with you?

One riot, one Ranger --- one magic convention, one Texan. Actually it's not quite that bad, but Helen and I always seem to be the only folks from San Antonio who enjoy the small, friendly gatherings. Or maybe we're the only ones who can manage to get away at those particular times. Anyway, we'll be at both events, with a trip to visit relatives in Tulsa thrown in between them.

I'm sure there will be more Texans there. It's less than a tank of gas away for many of them.

This is a fantastic convention for a super price! It is large enough to draw some class acts yet still small enough where you meet people that will remain friends with you for a life time. The magicians are great and seemed more relaxed than at the larger conventions and the vendors have deals galore! Don't miss this one!

See you there,
David

This is going to be fun. But it is wise to get your rooms set now too! Glen draws a better crowd than people think. Some of the Alabama boys will be there too.
