In my opinion... the perfect gift is...
Well maybe it’s just me… but I love getting (and giving) books as Holiday Gifts. If it’s not too presumptions of me (and I know it really is) I’d like to recommend that you or your gift giver ask Santa (or whoever fills your stockings) for a copy of “Tales of Enchantment” this year. Not because I say it’s good, but because dozens of happy (and well informed) readers have shared really great feedback with me (and on the Café). Okay, let Santa take a look for himself: http://www.leapinglizardsmagic.com/csspa......ment.htm Just a mischievous Elf here giving a hint and a reminder… <grin> Magically, Walt |

I waited for Santa to bring me a gift last year and when it didn't come I was told Santa was dead. Now, I don't know this for sure so I wouldn't want to spread the rumor. However, I'm not taking any chances this year and bought a copy of Walt's book for myself. Call me selfish but I made sure I got what I wanted this year. As for Walt's shameless plug.... I thought it was well restrained and not out of place at all... LOL

Shameless plug or not, that's one eye-opening and thought-provoking book. If I didn't already have one (thanks, Walt!), I'd certainly tell Santa about it.

<Grin> Get your own shameless plug going Bertoneski, this is my space to totally humiliate myself! LOL
I'm hoping for Holiday gift sales, not because it makes me rich (it surely does not) but because this is my legacy to Magic, and I want to see our craft flourish as an art-form. I love when people jump in with reviews and thoughts on the book, here or in the Good/Bad/Garbage book section, or with PM's to me. Thank you to everyone who's bought the book so far and spread the word, I want it to make some sort of difference over the long haul. Happy Holidays, and New Year, Walt http://www.leapinglizardsmagic.com/csspa......ment.htm |

Well, well, well....wouldn't you know it? I got a copy of "Tales of Enchantment" for Christmas!
Actually, I scored BIG this Christmas in the magic department. From my good friend Andrew Gerard: A copy of his new DVD set - "The Process". Thanks very much bro. From my girlfriend: An actual antique desk bell, perfectly worn and rusted just right for use in my friend Tony Chris's "Fairmont Hotel" routine. From another friend: A nice new case for storing my close-up props and 2 dozen decks of Bicycle playing cards. From "Santa" - A copy of Walt's "Tales of Enchantment". YES!!! - A Koornwinder Kar (Tenyo version) with secret unlocking feature.. - Doc Eason's "Out to Dinner" clip. So yeah, to say I'm a pretty happy camper right now would be a bit of an understatement... Anyways, it would be interesting to hear what everybody else got for x-mas. Cheers, and best of the season to you all! |

I got a lump of coal in my stocking, but then turned into a diamond using the Crush gimmick, so I'm straight.

In my opinion, the perfect gift is...something someone really needs.
