I'm dumfounded. Why don't you want to use a billet switch? It sounds perfect for this. The fact that you're already using one just makes for consistancy.

You can't get Mind Razor any more. It was a limited release eBook by Bob Cassidy. I think there were only 25 - 75 copies released. I'm not sure. I don't have this one, so I can't comment on the material.

Bob releases these limited eBooks from time to time. Check out his web site, but be forwarned, he doesn't always tell exactly what the effect(s) are in his eBooks:

Upon re-reading this thread, it is funny that the method he wants is for STAGE and is one of the elemenatry things one learns within "13 Steps to Mentalism" and is also in "Practical Mental Effects".

...a silly simple method with a stack of index cards comes to mind.

For stage work, wallets and peek cases seem of the wrong theatrical scale to me. But its all about what makes sense in context.

Getting a peek is a super add on to an effect if its just right, and can occur naturally However I would never rely on a peek to be the major Modus operandi, even in a flexible performance.

I'm yet to 'see' the 'undetectable direct peek'.[Ha, ha, language can be so funny]. There are some truly amazing indirect peeks.

A real mentalist would succeed without handling anything or even being in any proximity to the action.

Just a point of view.
