I was talking about all of the illusions from Creative Illusions. Not the Arthur prop...

Someone just told me that they don't believe that these are the props from that Vegas show back in the day..
I can't remember the name of that show... Paul Haines was the star of the show.

These props look a lot newer than I remembered those other props looking..
THey had a large walking thru steel wall box.. A very large version of the sawing that they invented and a water tank of sorts..
Don't remember all of the illusions that were in that show..

When I lived in Vegas a guy who was in the band showed me pieces of video from that show. Almost everything was built for that show and was made HUGE just for the sake of having a huge show. It was called Spellbinder. I have a tee shirt lol.

I guess he is still in the phase of denial and he still has to accept that he had his chance, that ended up in a financial dissaster, and take the consequences. I always had some sympathy for Wyrick.
I hope the illusions go to someone who knows how to use them.

Alll due respect, at least he tried! SO many trash talkers on the Café and they never even given it 1% of what Wyrick did! Smile

These guys I guess bought the illusions from Steve and then went to the Hilton in Vegas.. I think that the show lasted a month and now the stuff is for sale on the auction..

Man this is big stuff.. Looks great, but really to big I think..

I hope this helps out on what all these illusions were for...

I'll try and get another clip on these guys..

I think that I saw this Rafeal guy on a ship a few years ago.. I remembered him with long hair though..
Not sure about the other guy.. Never seen him.

I believe Tim Clothier worked on the Leer Jet Appearance at Splashes. Its definitely not a shell. Its a real leer jet minus much of the working equipment (motors, etc.) to reduce weight for obvious reasons. Also, the rotation Appearance on MagicAuction is Dirks! Such a great piece designed by Tim Clothier and Don Wayne! I helped Tim assemble it along with some of the scenic paint work on it... It went without any problems while I worked in the show... Great illusion!

I'm sad to hear about Wyrick's losses but hope he will bounce back and produce a better and bigger show...it wouldn't be the first time he went from bankruptcy to a full show!
