I think offering this constructive criticism would all be very helpful. Plus, I know Kyle can handle it and he has released some GREAT things in the past.

Ben, while I agree that new doesn't equal better, I think with some work this trick, or a variation thereof could be quite entertaining.

Attention spam is also now minimal, a longer type routine has to have loads of magic along the way, think of the cups and balls, once you've lost the attention you may as well call it a day. Of course there's a place for all types of magic, but generally today's audiences want to see all action stuff. I keep this in mind when I'm creating stuff, short, sharp hard hitting magic. Your routine has all of the above, but as you mentioned, nothing wrong with a little streamlining! Keep em coming Kyle. Gary.

I wouldn't worry too much about the patter, just add a presentational hook (plot) as I'm sure most magicians are big enough and ugly enough to add there own presentational styles lol! Gary Jones.

I am just working on a better version, which is SO MUCH shorter, and more hard hitting.
Basically, aces are blue backed, and a red backed deck, so the aces are aliens (from a different planet) (deck). Two selections picked, aces capture both, and the aces are turned face up and seen to have changed their faces to lure the selections (they are two of the mates for each card). And then the backs.... the whole deck turns blue, so the aliens don't look like outsiders much anymore, except for the selections, which are the only cards red. That SOUNDS complicated, but actually is very short, visual, and streamlined. I will do a video of the EFFECT soon... Kyle |

The demo I am going to post will be looking for some more feedback, before I even consider selling it!
So far, I have sent it to several people and they have liked it much more! I prefer this new version a LOT more. Demo coming soon (today). Kyle |

You seem to have great potential but I don't see this routine as it's own thing for sale. The routine is nothing special IMO, the patter is okay but nothing special. I think you should keep this for yourself and work it in a little and then maybe include it in a collection of routines.

Sorry Ted, I put it offline for a short while so I oculd film a better demo.
Thanks for the feedback Vorezo, I put this video up mainly for feedback, and not to say I'm going to sell it (I considered it, but I was never sure). I am working on some more routines that are better, including a real nice one based on the circle of life - its a flashy, elegant and short trick, that really wil lleave specs stunned and in awe. Thanks guys! Kyle |

Kyle, I wouldnt give up on this as a release, I just think some people are saying that single tricks need to be very very polished before they can be marketed (although that doesn't always happen). I'm sure it will improve over time as you hone the routine even more. I think the presentation hook is a good one but I'd make it a bit more Tongue in cheek as there is probably a lot of opportunity for gags when talking about aliens. My personal view with presentation is there needs to be a believability factor or a stupidity factor.
