Hi all,

I am looking to buy a largish jar of RC and wondered about the best type to get for making gaffed envelopes, cutting bills in half, etc etc.
The only stuff I have used is from my bicycle repair kit and that's a bit tempremental.

Should I be getting a specific type that facilitates magical usage?

Best Regards

Alan

Living in Norway I am not sure just what is available. Here in the U.S. The "Gold Standard" brand for rubber cement among artists is Best Test, a premium white rubber cement.

If Best Test does not exist there I would advise you to check with art supply stores or someone in graphic arts for what brand they would recommend.

Hi Frankft, The stuff I use now is clear so its almost invisable once dry, so the final light talcum powder dusting sets it off nicely.

I would have thought that a white colored cement would attract attention where it was unwanted?

Certainly in the context of bills, envelopes etc etc.

Thanks for the reply

Best Test white rubber cement dries clear. It is the premium rubber cement. In Europe, Fixogum or Pattex is probably the best choice.
