You should also check with the IBM if there are any active Rings in Romania. The web site does not have a listing for one but advises you to call to find out up to date information regarding a Ring in your country.

Paul, go to http://www.magician.org/portal/en/ibm_localrings and you can see a list of IBM "Rings," which are the magic clubs, and their locations around the world.

Thanks Mark,
Did have a look but didn't find much more than a national contact. I'll contact them I guess! |

Glad to help. You can ask them if there are others in your area that belong to the IBM. Could be there are a number of IBM members around, but not a Ring (club). You could then see about starting one. You only need 10 IBM members to start a affiliate group in your area.

Paul;
Where are you located? Up until 2008 I lived in the Midlands, in Coventry. There are, in that area, if memory serves, about a half dozen magic societies and groups. Try this link http://www.britishring.org.uk/ it'll give you an idea of what's available. Coventry and Leamington Spa have two of the best groups, I'm a biased I know, I did my first show when I was part of the Coventry Magic Circle. Best of Luck |

What is the difference between the IBM and the Magic Circle. I realise they are different organisations but from a (UK) members perspective?
