Can one execute same effects with Schoolcraft's 3CM Set, as with Lassen's Triple Threat gimmick?

They are actually different sizes. Triple Threat uses an Ex [, 3CM does not. This feature allows you to match four other Morgans with the [ and have an Ex [ set for a very reasonable price.

Yes Sammy, but the same effects can be done with either set. I think that is what Nicholas meant. If not, sorry.

Sammy I got a triple threat that does not have an expanded shell. I got it right from Todd.
Not all Triple Threat sets have those qualities but you can do the same effects with them. I got a Silver dollar sized Copper Triple Threat in case your wondering. Todd was not making the Silver Dollars sets at the time. Relax a bit and enjoy magic ....no stress man. Mobius |

I had one of those sets. It was the reason that I eventually sold it, I liked the ability to use the X[ on my other TT. Should have asked Todd to shave the extra coins. You can do the same effects with both. |

Im asking this question because I recently got Troy Hooser's book "Moments" in where several effects with the Triple Treath gimmick are included.
I happen to have the 3CM set ...

I should have clarified. I was talking about a Morgan Triple Threat. I have bought two from Todd and both have the Ex [. When I bought my 3CM I was told it was a Triple Threat, but after some investigation I learned that the Morgan TT used the Ex [. I called Todd and asked him about it. He said that he may have made a couple non ex [ Morgan sets for a couple of guys by special request, but that the standard version of the Morgan was with an Ex [.
I can't speak to the Copper sets, as I don't have one. I also have never heard of a 3CM in Copper. Cheers! Sammy

The cool thing about the expanded set is you can load chinese coins under them without haveing to have them cut down! I just happen to know some one who has a few routines useing that!

The 3cm is not available in Copper. That is a Todd Lassen exclusive.
The Stuff in "Moments" can be done with the 3cm set. Dave I bet you have 10 of them by now. 3t is my favorite gimmick .....it has an endless number of possible routines. |

No Just two! One in A Barbar Half for close-up! And one in a Morgan silver Dollor for stand-up/ parlor work!
