Hi all!
above all, happy new year 2011 with a lot of happiness with your family ... I'm currently looking for an effect with the application for iPod "iForce. " This application is really fantastic! I thought to use it for an effect with the Esp symbols . You draw the 5 symbols on pieces of paper and you give them to a spectator for a mix . 1) You write a prediction on your Iphone and put it on the table .The person put a paper on the table. Your prediction on the iPhone is the same that the sign on the paper. 2) You write a second prediction on the Iphone . The person laying on the table 3 papers, he left one his hand with just one paper, the prediction is matching with the paper on the spectator's hand 3)you write another iPhone prediction and give it to the person. She puts it on any of the 3 papers that remain on the table: the prediction is correct! I was thinking to this effect after watching ESP prediction from ALAIN NU... I wanted to share this idea with you... Excuse me for my English so basic ! best PASCAL |

Thanks for sharing Pascal. I'm with you, iForce has so many possibilities.
One thing to think about in regards to your routine, though. I've found that using the iPhone to write down something makes most sense, and draws the least amount of suspicion when there is no paper around to write on. If you hand a spectator a piece of paper, then why don't you also write your prediction on a piece of paper too? Why the iPhone? I think the iPhone makes most sense when I'm walking around, not at a table, with nothing on me, but my iPhone. But that's me. |

Adding more more thought to my above post...
Instead of handing the spectator pieces of paper, what about handing them five coins, each one with a different ESP symbol on it? You could still have them select a symbol the way you have it, without introducing paper into the mix. |

I have to agree with Mr. Mindbender here. I had the same reaction when I read the original post. The iPhone makes no sense when papers and pencils are being used by the participants. It seems to me that the iPhone, using one of those ubiquitous "apps" that seem to be able to do just about anything, would be highly suspect in this context.
Good thoughts, Bob |

I also wanted to throw in a plug for another iPhone app, "101 Deck" as I've had people write to me to say that they use it as part of their ESP card routine. The app allows you to reveal a photo prediction in your iphone camera library. During the routine you can say something along the lines of: "Earlier today I knew which symbol you would think of, and I took a photo of it using my iphone camera.." You then proceed to open your photo library (the real photo library) and the last photo in your camera roll will be the the image of your prediction.
You basically pre-load the app with up to five outs in the form of images you've taken with the camera. Then when you do the secret move, the app sends one photo to the camera roll so that you can show it as the last photo you took with the camera.
