Think 'Climate change' [unpredictable weather] rather then the phrase 'Global warming.

I don't know where this article was produced, but for those of us in the north, well, its always cold every winter. I don't believe in global warming because every year I see enough evidence that things are just as they've always been - cold!

I do like the way that ANYTHING that can happen will eventually be covered by "Climate Change" LOL. This is partly the problem with the "science". I have to admit the "Warm-ongers" thing did not impress me in the least. I didn't take it seriously as anything but name calling from then on.

I do like 'warm-mongers'.
I finally got my heater fixed! It was four degrees and I couldn't take it any longer so I'm now pretty comfertable and while I have fifty four cents to my name I do have a bag of pasta so I'm good! |

Are we there yet?
Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? No Carrie Sue we are not there yet. When will we be there? When the polar ice cap disappears.

So far, I don't see it.
The northern polar ice cap gets bigger in the winter, and smaller in the summer. Duh. The Quicktime visuals and charts on this site make the case quite handily: http://arctic.atmos.uiuc.edu/cryosphere. We couldn't destroy the polar ice caps if we tried. All this global warming hysteria is an attempt by the liberal left to stop progress and make us a third world economy. Stop burning gasoline. Stop lighting you homes with the incandescent light bulb. Stop "processing" food. Blah, blah, blah. Carrie |

If we could only slow Carrie's emissions of hot air, those ice caps would be safe.

There are a lot of cows in Michigan. Perhaps Carrie could heat her house, and drive her car with dried cow dung.

Do not confuse surface area with volume, and do not confuse volume with mass. I have noted before and given links as evidence (yeah, Santa, that's why I do it) showing that the amount of ice in the polar caps is dramatically below historic levels. John

I never have believed in the global warming thing and never will. The weather isn't doing anything that it isn't supposed too. Nor is it doing anything that humans and the rest of nature can't or won't adapt to.

John,
Even if that's true, it's our fault just for living our lives and driving our cars and heating our homes and producing our electricity? Carrie |

Carrie one thing at a time. GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT then we can talk policy.

Just trying to find out what you believe, John.
I think this world is a lot bigger than we are, and it's much more able to take care of itself than the elitists in Washington believe. Carrie |
