He ended his job 20 days ago. Started September 4, 2001. Faceless bureaucrat?

It's not FBI Director Robert Muller is it? I thought he left longer than 20 days ago, and I don't get referrence that he "was so incompetent that he couldn't get himself arrested."

You've got it! Robert Mueller was Director of the FBI from Sept 4th, 2001 to Sept 4, 2013. My reference to "couldn't get himself arrested" was a joking clue as to his high level law enforcement position, as was my comment that he was a "faceless BUREAUcrat." I thought it was interesting that people felt his name was familiar yet couldn't place it.
So imgic the ball is in your court now, give us a name.

Thought it might be a bit too easy. Yep. Donna was the little sex kitten pictured on Gary Harts lap that detailed his 1984 presidential run.
As a bonus question... What was the name of the yacht on which Gary and Donna were photographed? In meantime it's Lobo's turn...

Monkey Business is correct for extra bonus points.
Unfortunately I have no idea who Winfield Hancock is...

Good guesses, not a right answer!
Winfield "Win" Hancock was one of the best field generals for the north in the Civil War. He particularly distinguished himself at Gettyburg after the death of General Reynolds - his forces were critical in the Wheatfield, and he also held the top of Cemetery Ridge at Pickett's Charge. In fact, it was his decision to even fight at Gettyburg in the first place; he had authority from Meade (after Reynolds's death) to retreat (the North was quite outnumbered at first); instead, he was a key factor in a major victory for the North. He was immensely popular, and ran for president, but General Ulysses S. Grant's presidency was considered such a disaster that the public was very much soured on former military leaders as presidents. As a result, he lost what was for over 100 years the closest presidential election in American history (to John Garfield). Had Grant not landed in the White House first, he almost certainly would have been president. I'll pass it off to Landmark...he comes up with some great ones.

Good try. I don't think you'd want him to be anyone's husband. He has issues in that department...
