Does anyone use the NeatDesk scanner for their receipts and such?

Is this similar to Neat Receipts? I use Neat Receipts and absolutely love it! It's very, very easy to itemize deductions for taxes, and it's great if I ever have to take something back. Highly Recommended!

Yup...NeatReceipts is the software and NeatDesk is the compartmented scanner. Incredible system. I just bought it and wondered if anyone else was using it. Thanks, WiseOne!

Yeah, my wife created categories in NeatReceipts that match the categories for deductions on my tax forms. That way, when something comes in, she can just put it in the right category.

Of course, it automatically scans and recognizes vendors (where the receipt was from) after the initial setup. It takes a lot of work, and yes it's lots of work scanning the receipts. But, if you can stay on top of it, integrate it with your financial management software, man, it's hard to beat! (and it's perfect for tax time!)

The NeatDesk Scanner takes the pain out of scanning the receipts. I pull the receipt or business card out of my pocket, drop it into the "Receipt" slot, push a button and walk away. No more shoebox. Far easier and faster than my old flat scanner. I like your idea of setting up individual folders for each tax category - Brilliant! These are the ideas I'm looking for on making this thing even smarter. Thanks!
