Hi, I am new in this forum, and have two years learning magic. So I decided to create my own business card. I want the business card be more than a regular card. I want to put a few additional features. Maybe the ESP trick from Banachek. I post here to get a few ideas.

Thanks for the support.

I have seen magician put optical illusions like in science and math books, and beginning magic books. There is a trick called 'Out to Lunch' it is a good trick to make out of your business cards as well.

You might want to check out Michael Ammar has some info on this as well. There a leather card wallet that uses business card magic as well.

I would say take care of the design first and worry about putting a trick on it later. It would be better to understand what makes a good business card before jumping ahead to adding a trick. As far as actual tricks go, you don't actually have to have a trick built in to do magic with it. You could do Michael Close's Pothole Trick from the workers series, make it float with some thread, or something like Hot Leads from Jim Pace. The Flicking Fingers also included a business card trick on their DVD The Movie. I can't remember the name of the trick but basically all of the letters on the business card drop and get scrambled on one side of the card and all that is legible is the name and contact information.

Ditto to get a great business card FIRST, and THEN add a trick to it, if it fits the card's design.
Focus on the trick, and you risk having a card that's boring except for the trick.
Yes, it seems exciting to you - but you have to think like your client.
When the trick is finished, is there anything about the card to make them want to keep it?
Is there anything about the card that when they're cleaning out the junk in their wallet, they will keep yours?

Design that way - or get someone to do it for you - and then think about adding a trick.

By the time they ASK for your business card, you shouldn't have to show them one more trick. And all this talk about "They'll keep it!" . . . .Well, if you've done great magic for them, and they like you, they'll keep it anyway. Just my $.02.

Go full color, glossy stock. Its worth the money, which isn't much different from spot color.
