I wanted to let anyone here on the The Magic Café
know that the lecture presentation I did on
my father is now available to view.

A lecture I presented on my father for the
Elmhurst Historical Museum on December 8th
at Midwest Magic for the Chicago Magical Tour.

It is just under 2 hours but include very
important information about one of the most
beloved magicians of our times.

An professional peformer, educator, inventor
and builder of magic.

It's a laid back fun and exciting time had by all.

The lecture includes rare photos and videos not seen by many.

No tricks or gimmicks were exposed during the presentation.

In order to see it you need a passcode.
Please email me for the link and information.

Something else I didn't get to discuss was my father's trip around the world.
but that's is something for next time too.

I'm currently working on two separate lectures:
one for the magicians and the other for the general public.

I've had inquiries for both so I'm really excited about it!

She is absolutely correct. I was really glad I asked her to see this. It was very enlightening and holds a lot of information. Do remeber this is not a proffesionally done video so it is the content that is the most important. I would say listen and learn. Thank you again for sharing your fathers life with us.

If anyone's hesitating, let me assure you that this is a most delightful two hours. How Frances keeps her voice for this long, I'll never know.

Don't go in expecting a Hollywood production. This is a home video of her lecture, and though the sound is perfect, don't be expecting a perfect view of the material on the screen. That said (And it's said only so there won't be any complaints later!) this is a presentation that anyone who loves magic or magic history would pay well to view.

Bravo, Frances!

Marshall,
I'm going to pm but also wanted to say it's wonderful to see a daughter sharing and keeping her father's legacy alive.

Hi Marshall, with all due respect, I would like to know who is your father in the world of magic. I tried doing a couple of searches but found nothing. Your web link seems to have broken as well. I'd love to learn and grow and I hope you would be able to shed some info.

Thanks everyone for the comments.
I appreciate them very much.

I hope all you have seen it will also
include your thoughts here as well.

I'm getting to do another lecture on
dad this Monday, but this time it is
for the general public. I will do some
simple effects and close with performing
an old and almost forgotten effect (if
my father didn't bring it back) with dad.
