I was waiting for the joke - that the 13th sign was going to be Chtulu, or whatever that guy's name is (did I spell it right?!)
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

The mistake in all this is the erroneous assumption that astrology is based on the actual effects of actual stars on people born at different times of the year. The constellations and planets of astrology are not the constellations and planets of the material universe. They are symbolic. The zodiacal constellations and planets are mnemonic devices to enable observers to catalogue and characterize the things that are set in motion at different times or seasons of the solar year. As the solar system moves through the universe, the relationship of our planet to the visible constellations changes, but that does not necessarily change the influences that are present, for a variety of reasons, at every different moment of the year. What is going on in the current news about the "new" zodiacal constellation is a mixing of astrology and astronomy, and that doesn't make any sense.
