Hello,
I love comedy magic and I'm considering adding some illusions currently. Is there any illusion that can be done hilariously? Can you give me some advices? Thank you very much. Best, YuYen

You can apply a comedy theme to many different popular illusions. I have seen the Twister, and Modern Art used as a comedy effect. Most head choppers are used for comedy effects. You the Compressed illusion also could be used.

Any illusion can be performed with comedy. Search up Scott Anderson's Sword basket or recently, Jay Mattioli and his Sumo illusion. These things are well presented effects with comedy. They make the usual seem so different. In the movie Megamind, megamind said, the secret is Presentation...

The Twister Illusion and the Mis-Made Lady are both very strong. We've always had a great reaction with both. Of all the illusions I've performed over the years .. the Mis-Made is still my mothers favorite.

Just apply a comedy presentation to nearly ANY illusion. For example, Spiked would not normally be considered a comedy effect. But if the girl who gets spiked climbs out of the illusion, takes a drink of water, and water spurts out of 10 holes from her body like a fountain, you have just made a comedy illusion.

I think Dan Summers Compressed is one of the best illusions out there & would work really well as a comedy piece ..... an extremely deceptive prop too.

It's not the illusion. It's the presentation

Phillipart & Anja, Rafael, Scott & Muriel add comedy in their illusion acts.
They give fresh air compare to all these "Copperfield/Hans Klok impersonators". ARNO |

I design routines for almost any stage illusion. I have a bunch of comedy routines. Shoot me a personal message here with what stage illusions you have and I can send you some ideas to try out.
