Jedi Mind Trick doesn't work on strong mind but strong mind could be fooled by Vulcan Death Grip.
Vulcan Death Grip, Spock's improvisation in a pinch every time.
You know why don't act naive.

How about if I use the Jedi Mind Trick, to make someone give THEMSELF the Vulcan Death Grip? (Which I think is a Vulcan Neck Pinch but not sure.)

"The Enterprise Incident," Kirk leads the Enterprise into Romulan territory where they get captured by a Romulan commander (who's hot and interested in Spock.) Spock accuses Kirk of being in questionable mental state whereupon Kirk attacks Spock. Spock does something weird with his hands covering Kirk's face completely. Kirk "dies" and Spock admits that he wasn't expecting the attack and instinctively used a "Vulcan Death Grip."

Nurse Chapel later complains to Dr. McCoy; "There is no 'Vulcan Death Grip.' " McCOY: "Yes, but the Romulans don't know that."

I think some of you mean Vulcan Mind Meld, not Vulcan Death Grip.

Actually, that bizarre 'shoulder pinch' Spock always used to render targets unconscious, whatever its official label was.

Vulcan Nerve Pinch, Vulcan Mind Meld, and the 'fictitious' Vulcan Death Grip are three different things.

If the comparison is being made to the Jedi Mind Trick, I'm thinking the proper / sensible comparison is to the Mind Meld.

Anyway, I was just trying to clear up some possible confusion. Smile

Yeah, that would compare better to Jedi Mind Trick. In which case; Jedi Mind Trick.
Vulcan Mind Meld takes a lot more to pull off (although Spock once pulled something similar to get a woman to activate a communicator and bring a rescue party.

For me, no question - Vulcan Death Grip.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".
