I just read the thread about Nick Belleas. Very interesting. I had never heard of him although it appears many others know of his underground work. Curious who else out there has contributed to the field like Belleas and has type of reputation but isn't known by the community at large.

I think Nick has been the creator of some top notch items but perhaps has not always been given credit where it was due.

Most of the underground guys want to stay underground, for various reasons. Plus there are well known names that keep some of their best effects underground.

Annemann, Dunninger, Alexander, Reese et al. All are currently under ground to the best of my knowledge.

Agreed... I think underground performers/creators/methods are the one to look for nowadays!
