Rented this last week and better than I thought it might be. Pretty well done and with a kind of "nice" ending.
Just curious what others that have seen it think. |

I am assuming you mean this movie:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1314655/ It was okay. I saw it and enjoyed it. Still, it was a pretty straightforward movie and I think ultimately pretty forgettable. This Wikipedia page mentions that Devil is one in a trilogy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devil_%28film%29 Devil (also known as The Night Chronicles: Devil) is a 2010 U.S. supernatural thriller film based on a story by M. Night Shyamalan, written by Brian Nelson, and directed by John Erick Dowdle. The film was released on September 17, 2010, and is the first of The Night Chronicles trilogy,[2] which involves the supernatural within modern urban society. ... On June 23, 2010, Shyamalan announced the second film in The Night Chronicles, titled 12 Strangers at first, but later changed to Reincarnate. The film is about a jury discussing a case dealing with the supernatural. Chris Sparling is set to write the script and Daniel Stamm to direct.[12] Shyamalan has also confirmed that the story for the currently untitled third installment of The Night Chronicles is actually going to be taken from the unplanned sequel of Unbreakable.[13]

Wasn't the worse movie ever. Good concept. Plays on claustrophobia like "Buried." Better than that awful "Village" movie.
Not the best, not the worst. Not disappointed to have watched it but I wouldn't buy it to have forever or anything.

I had a friend convince me to watch 'Devil' yesterday and for a Shyamalan film it's not bad at all.
It's a shame he decided to spend so much time remaking 'Sixth Sense' over and over again. I'll never forgive him for 'The Village' (LOL) |

Shyamalan also admits that he ripped the structure of the story from a VERY famous and classic mystery novel (which I will not mention, in order not to give away spoilers).

I liked Devil (and that famous and classic mystery novel). I also liked The Village. It was "Unbreakable" that kind of ended the M. Night mystique for me.

I followed the link and clicked on "watch trailer" and then I read

A group of people trapped in a elevator realize that the devil is among them. That made me laugh. Then I watched the trailer, it doesn't look like my kind of movie but I will keep it mind for a movie night sometime. It looks like it could be fun in the right circumstances.
