Yes, I have a one of one Bill Nelson that was never used and the mouth has broken. This was a one time team up between him and another gentleman who I will not name. Bill fulfilled his end of the bargain superbly. The other person did horrific work.
Maybe you could send OLD BOB to Lavendar for a mechanical re-work. That sculpture is amazing!! |

If you get focusing on using a couple, and some others don't get used for a while, it can be easy to forget they had "something", and make you want to get them out again and work with them some more.

Bob I also must say your group of figures is outstanding. Quality not quantity. Great collection.

So I should keep my eyes open for a Nelson?lavender figure!
One of the problems about living in the UK (apart from the weather) is that I don't get to see many figures. I f I get anything from the states by the time I have paid postage and import duty and then sales tax it puts about 50% on the price! I hope to get something at vent haven. Does anyone sell second hand figure there?

Colin,
There will be some second hand items at the ConVENTion. However, if you bring something home in a suitcase. . . Steve http://www.thedummyshoppe.com |

I'm planning on bringing a couple of my puppets and at least one figure - just have to find someone who will put them on the table! (Commissioned of course!)

Bob - I was just looking at your FINIS/GUYLL. Wow...what all did Guyll do to your figure? That is perhaps the best FINIS figure, ever. It looks fantastic.

But when Ray got inside the head, it was filled with the greasy lubricating gunk that Finis was famous for. So Ray had to remove all the mechanics to clean them. He then re-installed everything in fantastic working order. In the meantime, I mentioned to Ray that Oscar's paint could use some touching up. Ray suggested that he re-paint him from scratch, and he did. I asked that Ray use the original Finis & Co. wig, as the wild blond hair is part of Oscar's character. This whole process took well over a year and was worth every second of wait and every penny of the ridiculously low amount that Ray charged me. When I finally got Oscar back, I was amazed at how fabulously he turned out. I can highly recommend Ray Guyll to anyone for figure repair/restoration. He is the Stradivarius of figure makers. (Bill Nelson is the Guarnieri.) Thanks for asking. Bob |

This is my first vent figure Dan sitting on his new table waiting for the rest of the relatives to arrive for his first family picture.
I have other figures that are not vent figures. The family picture will be in the next photo I post here. |

Nice shot.
I had one of Dan's figures early in his figuremaking pursuits, he was a good figure.
