I know they had a fire some years ago. Did it ever reopen? Smile

As far as I know the owners name was Henry Mueller from Niagara Falls. The museum did never reopen but I think that the Houdini Museum in the Venetian (Las Vegas) owned by Geno Munari exhibits most of the stuff and then some that they had.

It is nice to see and sure worth your time when in Vegas. Smile

Currently the only building in the world devoted to Houdini is in Scranton, PA.

Greata exhibit in England at the Magic Circle, and at Robert Goulet's Magic Art Studio in Mass.

"The truth shall make you free, but first it will make you angry." -Robert Ingersoll-Atheist (on the mind of Houdini when he died.)

We are thrilled we were able to bring The Grim Game to the world! Thanks TCM.

There was some sort of "difference of opinion" between Munari & Radner and the proposed Houdini museum never fully... materialized. After the big auction, the lion's share of the best pieces ended up in David Copperfield's collection. Munari is in the process of selling pieces on eBay as I have seen several postings on The Genii Forum of one valuable collectable or another. The most recent was a pencil pre-production sketch from one of Houdini's Water Torture Cell posters.

The American Museum of Magic in Marshall Michigan has as it's center display, four brass tubs used to fill the Water Torture Cell, Houdini's Milk Can and Houdini Packing Crate. Not to mention many other Houdini on display and items that can be found in the library.
