I was ponderin' nature and it hit me.....we SELL the names for Hurricanes! Rather than 'Hurricane Betrice destroyed Melbourne Florida today' they can say 'Hurricane Intel delivered as promised with the power of Core Technology the redevelopment of Melbourne Florida today'. Nice huh? Pick the right storm and you can be around for decades, picture it rather than Katrina we get "President Obama laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown Hurricane Dell victim as survivors demanded $250,000 and a forty in additional support....". I think it is a winner!

Simpler idea: Get all those people together who think the government needs more money, and allow them send in all the extra money they want!

Sell the names of the hurricanes and use the money to help fund the clean up and recovery.

Yes! I'm sure the good folks at BP will be glad to fund environmental disaster relief out of their innate sense of civic volunteerism.

The govt excused them from some of what would be reasonable govt demands for accountability. This should please you as a move towards no govt. regulation.

People are responsible for their actions. This is government giving big companies a break with regards to accountability. Accountability to who? Whoever is harmed, or whos property is damaged. They would be responsible for cleaning up their mess, rather than the government saying "it's ok, you only have to cover a small portion, we'll take care of the rest."

We've probably had this conversation before, but remind me, how would they be accountable without a law or enforcement? Is it voluntary accountability? Do they get to decide their own punishment?

Well, without a government, the only "borders" would be those of private property.
To imagine there would be no accountability in such a system is like saying there is no accountability between individual ""countries" because there is no overall worldwide government.

Yes, and those of tribal backgrounds or cultural, religious, ethnic, etc who believe in borders that may not be defined will be...um...pruned. Pruned is a good term cuz a tree pruned will be healthier, produce more fruit, and be shaped the way the person w/ the saw has in mind. We know that anarchist do not believe in equality and they believe that only those that make the 'community' healthy are important. The population can be pruned to the point that the remaining, acceptable, population can be mutually controlled by an agreement in spirit as long as they mutually agree w/ the ones who bare the weapons and have the keys to the ovens.

Well, aside from the generalizing of all "anarchists," let's think for a second. Don't believe in equality? Quite the opposite, as I said, I believe in the individual. No group is above them because they say so, and neither is any individual. As for the community health? Wow, you are really disillusion aren't you? That, or unbelievably ignorant. The health of the community would sound rather collectivist wouldn't it?

Godwin, the top dog of individual anarchy said 'some people are more or less important'. Not equal. Sounds like a prelude to genicide to me....
